“do not judge a book by its cover as is in this case. situated on the freeway behind a pub we did not expect much and was very pleasantly surprised by the newness and cleanliness of the room. the downside is slow/weak internet and the bed isn’t as comfy. for short stays near footscray & sunshine where we needed to be we were very satisfied. ”

“Burwood East Motel was very convenient for my purpose. The room was large and had all expected features. The receptionist, [owner?] Was very friendly and obliging. On my leaving, she had my phone charger out to me before I could get into my car after dropping back my room key. I forgot to pack it and hadn't missed it!!. Thank you. Would recommend this motel.”

“Cheap nights stay. Room is very clean but depending on how the other guests are the bathroom can be pretty bad. Either they aren't cleaned enough or other guests don't have the courtesy to leave the communal spaces tidy.”

“Vicina al centro, la mia camera da 8 era molto spaziosa, armadio capiente e funzionale e comoda mensola con corrente vicino al letto. Rooftop bellissimo! ”

“L'albergo è difficile da trovare. Non è segnalato bene e ci abbiamo messo un po' a capire dove fosse. Se si va in macchina subito affianco all'albergo ci sono due parcheggi a pagamento, quindi è comodo. Per spostarsi a Melbourne invece c'è la fermata del tram (gratuito) subito dietro all'albergo e si raggiunge velpcemente qualsiasi punto del centro città. Le stanze sono poccolissime e se si hanno due valige si fa un po' di fatica a muoversi in stanza, ma alla fin fine ci abbiamp solo dovuto...

“The best thing is the rooftop communal area. The bunks were pretty good, had curtains. Kitchen is well organised. Bunkroom is messy with bags all over the floor i stead of in lockers or on the bunks. Overall the best of the 4 hostels I have stayed at so far in Melbourne. ”

“Abbiamo scelto la struttura per la vicinanza all'aeroporto ed il prezzo. La struttura è in linea con lo standard della catena.Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo avuto qualche piccolo intoppo con il check-in ma presto risolto. Il lavandino della camera non scaricavabene e l'addetto si è prodigato per risolvere il problema proponendoci come ultima alternativa di cambiare camera. Complimenti.”

“Liked friendly and welcoming staff, cleanliness, free coffee tea and bread. Comfortable bed and communal areas. Only think to be improved is that I wasnt in receipt of the code to get in when I arrived. I didnt have a sim card so couldnt phone. I went away and emailed Frank to get it and then went back. Ideally an automatic email and text giving these details, before check out time would have been good. Overall this is my favourite accommodation place in Melbourne. ”
