“The bathroom was not clean, the tub had stains in it. The furniture is very old and not well kept. Good thing we didn't need the air conditioning becouse it was extremely noisy. Not recommended at all”

“My husband and I along with our newborn recently stayed at chads place. We stayed for two nights and had an amaziing time spending a few days away from home. The cottage had everything you would need and more. Perfect location to downtown Bedford and Shawnee state park. My husband and I loved fishing right on the property and relaxing at the campfire at night! We can’t wait to plan our next trip and be able to utilize the bikes and kayaks! “This motel was pretty much exactly what you'd expect from an old small town motel, as far as room amenities, etc. The room and bathroom were small but adequate. Everything was extremely clean, which is an absolute must for me. There are no frills but for a one night stay, that wasn't necessary. Our only real complaint was the bed was firm but not horrible and the pillows were flat (those were pretty horrible). The owner was extremely friendly and you could tell he cared for his guests. ”

The hosts were professional and responsive, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. We highly recommend this property and would gladly return.”

And the listing indicated it had a pull-out bed which we needed for the second guest and the bed is not functional, so the second person had to sleep on the couch which was not great. A beautifully maintained and updated Farm House nestled in the corn fields with views from every point. Four beautiful bedrooms and two full baths.
