“Overall this property is excellent. Mattress for me a alittle soft but got used to it after a couple of days. Staff are excellent,helpful and cant do enough to be of service. Although they dont do breakfast as a option there's a excellent food wagon on their rear car park that does excellent breakfast and lunch options. Will definitely stay again in the near future ”

“This small hotel is a real find and only a 5 minute walk further out of the centre than were used to. It made it for it with excellent attention to detail and good quality room amenities. The hotel is staffed remotely and we had a problem with locking our door. We sent a WhatsApp and got an immediate response from Geoff who sent someone to fix it straight away. “Nice place with a good view over Winckley Square. We just booked one night local to get out of the house as our son was having friends around for his 21st. As we left the 20 and 21yr olds behind, was quite surprised to be met by the unmistakable smell of weed in the living room of the flat. Not a massive problem to be fair, but the sickly smell does tend to linger. The flat is quite nicely fitted out in a faux art deco style. “A great hotel in a good location close to the sea with an excellent beer garden backing onto the canal. Fantastic food let down by a slow service between courses. The room was clean and comfortable although the extractor fan for the kitchen was directly outside the windows. Easy access for those who needed to leave early with a key dropbox and friendly efficient staff on reception and behind the bar. Arredamento troppo essenziale: non c'è una sedia o un tavolino/comodino per appoggiare le proprie cose, non c'è un appendiabiti per appendere giacche o borse, solo un armadio molto piccolo. “It's not the Ritz, but is clean, comfy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking and it's quiet, being set back from the main A6. The hotel is being gradually refurbished and it does need it as the decor is very dated. You can tell that it was previously a Premier Inn. It was reasonably priced for one night. I didn’t frequent the attached pub so can't comment on food quality. ”
