“Bad location: it is dangerous to walk in the area around the hotel in the evening. The interiors are old in bad condition. The bath is very small and with very poor flooring. A very loud noise comes from the street out front. In the reception I have found rude person. At check in I asked a map of the city and the front desk clerk told me to find what I need in my smartphone…”

“This place was updated, quiet. Staff was friendly. Ford Field and Comerica Park are like 3 blocks away. You can walk to numerous restaurants,bars, ice cream places, coffee shops. I highly recommend it.”

“Neglected and noisy hotel. The curtains were stained with blood. There is no air conditioning which came from the ceiling but cold or hot air which was produced by a fan coil on the ground under the window which if you have to operate it is extremely noisy and raises the dirty curtains. At 4 am the bathroom started making an intense noise, with a frightening vibration and at very high decibels. The lady at the reception refused to come and check the terrible noise. “We stayed here for 1 night to attend an event at Pine Knob Music Theater, location was ideal and only about 15 minutes to the theater. Front desk staff was friendly, room was spacious and clean. $5 for the breakfast which was fine for us. Would stay here again if in the area. ”
