“This hotel is far past its prime, but still a nice and convenient place to stay in Mt. Crested Butte. There was a loud air duct in the bathroom that couldn't be turned off and only one window that opened, but otherwise was comfortable. I wish that the breakfast (which is very expensive) had more gluten free options--there was almost nothing I could eat. ”

“Not a new cookie cutter hotel, but an authentic carefully managed property with a personal touch. We especially enjoyed the comfort of the lobby where you can use your hotel room card to purchase a glass of wine or a 2 oz shot of booze. The name may be nordic, but I would call it Bavarian. The door in the bathroom was solid wood and the ceiling was wood. The breakfast room was thoughfully organized and the free breakfast was about as good as you can get without a cook. We live in Colorado...

“The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is a fantastic place to stay in Crested Butte. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the mountain. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the beds were super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. Another great perk is the free bus service into town, which runs regularly and makes exploring downtown Crested Butte hassle-free. Highly recommended for a comfortable and...

“The unit was very dated. It is also odd that you walk into the bedroom, having to go through it to the sitting area/kitchenette. Our room adjoins another room, and we heard their TV and chatting until they went to sleep. That was annoying. The location and staff were phenomenal ”

“The pool, hot tub, and restaurant were closed. The hotel was under construction. I booked this place specifically for the pool for my 3 kids. Nowhere did it mention that the place was under construction.”
