“Our room was excellent - recently decorated with good facilities - our only problem was with the shower (no instructions). We had an evening meal which was very well presented. No breakfast available but there are coffee shops and cafes in the village. The staff were very helpful. We would happily stay here again.”

“We booked a studio for two nights which was on 1/F and clean. A bottle of milk and some cakes were offered, which tasted good. We could park in the driveway or on the street. We visited the Four Waterfalls and hiked to the Pen y Fan along the horse shoe route, both spots were within 30 minutes of drive. Tesco and restaurants were just within a few minutes.”

“It was during one of the high temperatures inEngland and tho it had two fresh air windows the host only allowed one. a small bathroom size window for ventilation plus a small fan. I asked him to open the other window / door but was denied seeming me to leave the property after one nite due to a high temp room . Host was not very helpful tho I asked to change rooms. Also no shade on deck . Would not stay here again .”

“We had a delightful stay with our dog at The Tiger. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel- we thoroughly recommend Chicken& Leek Pie. Lovely beer/lager.Our only niggle would be the rooms are all on the top floor- a few stairs to negotiate. We would stay again.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. “Stayed here during a busy concert weekend. The owner and staff working were welcoming and friendly. There is a bar on site, which is handy as there is not really much else in the immediate area except a small convenience store. Room was clean and comfortable. It's a bit of a distance from the city center but the train station is a 5 minute walk. Given it's further away I feel it provides a more inviting and local experience.”
