“From the moment we checked in, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was large with an excellent ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and the food was brilliant. We only stayed for 2 nights but thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Would recommend the Hotel Mariners to anyone ”

“L’hotel è gestito con molta attenzione all’ospite. Quando siamo arrivati già si erano informati sulla nostra provenienza e siamo stati trattati benissimo. All’interno un ristorante eccellente. L’hotel è di fronte al castello e vicinissimo a negozi ed altre attrazioni. ”

“Struttura modesta. Non brutta dall'esterno ma stanza e bagno vecchi. Non hanno pulito la stanza né il bagno né svuotato i cestini. Colazione continentale molto modesta senza croissant o altri dolci. Prezzo sproporzionato ai servizi. ”

“Obviously a lot of effort has been made by the new owners to create a comfortable and upgraded environment. They are working hard and constantly on what was obviously a worn down building. Looking out from the room the gardens and view is spectacular. The room was large and comfy with great, instant hot water and lovely deep bath. Authentic home cooked curry was delicious.”

“Great location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was lovely, but unfortunately very limited as they were struggling with supply problems. Would stay again.”

“A very well appointed inn, scenically based on the edge of the haven, run by a charming family of four who could not be more friendly or helpful. The breakfast is superb and the evening menu varied. All meals are cooked to order and prepared to a high standard. In short, a splendid place to stay within reach of numerous local attractions. We intend to return.”

“We had such a wonderful stay at East Hook Farm. Karen was lovely and very knowledgeable and had great recommendations for places to eat and attractions to visit. Our accommodation was exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet. You need a car to get to it but it's so well located for all the attractions. Breakfast was gorgeous too. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again.hank you Karen! ”

“Comfortable room, a real bargain and the breakfast was wonderful. The owner was lovely, really friendly and helpful. I was staying in a single, which would probably be snug if staying for a while/have loads of stuff, but for a few nights I'd strongly recommend (or book a larger room). Location is excellent, castle at the top of the street! Shops and restaurants all on the doorstep!”
