The rooms and areas were a bit tired looking and worn, for example the towels were scraggy, there was no where to hang a towel in the bathroom, the lock on the bathroom door was dodgy, but the hotel staff in all areas from reception to the spa and the bistro were extremely friendly and professional. “Had a lovely stay at the vale resort on 28 march. Made use of the spa and had a 2 hour walk around the grounds,lake and castle after a lovely breakfast . Well recommended for a break away”

“Nice hotel, great quality breakfast with cooked on demand options as well as buffet. Really Enjoyed the egg hollandaise on GF bread. The shower went from boiling hot to cold every few seconds which was not pleasant. And the 1st floor bedrooms came with a large shared terrace/ roof top and we were woken up by a child out on the terrace singing early morning. I wouldn’t stay on the 1st floor again but overall good hotel and good location. ”
