“The owners were so kind and helpful. This is THE hidden treasure of Kingston. Bob Marley beach is walking distance and the rooftop patio was breathtaking. The AC in the rooms was perfect to cool off after a hot day. This hotel also has a bar and the pool is cute and deep enough for the kids to jump in. The rooms are very traditional Jamaican style/decor and VERY clean. The wifi was strong and overall this was a fabulous likkle spot. Mi soon come back”

“Starlight Chalet is a very nice, well maintained classic building with beautiful landscaping. The view is wonderful, especially from upstairs and from the gazebo. The food was very good (but perhaps a bit expensive). The beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean and well-maintained. “The home was authentic Jamaican, gated and secure. I arrived late in the day with an emerging dental emergency. The next morning this required immediate attention. The Hostess Tamara walked with me to a nearby Dental Centre to be successfully treated. As I returned and departed for the International Airport, the host Shane taxied me to the airport for a flat $25 rate as advertised, (airport taxis were asking for $35-$45 for the same transport.) The hosts were welcoming, attentive and gracious....

“Pristine is the word I’ll use to describe the grounds of Strawberry Hills. Felt like I was close to heaven🙂 because we were so far in the mountains of Irish Town, St Andrew. The rooms were immaculately maintained and the decor complimented the architectural period of the cottages. We woke up early to witness a magnificent sunrise then enjoy a fresh delicious breakfast. “I loved everything about it! It's peaceful, quiet, friendly staff who leave you alone and don't bother you about anything, normal amenities like tea, bottles of cold water and snacks. If you get the 2nd floor I think you would have a very nice view as well. Also I'm a single female traveler from abroad The rooms are safe and you can bolt lock them from inside. The AC is kicking. Loved my stay and will be back soon.”
