“The bar was reasonbly priced and on Saurday night karaoke was on. The room was clean and tea/coffee facilities in room. The location is great. Had no complaints and will be returning in May.”

“Arrived and the first thing that struck us was the 10 or so steps at the front door to get up to the reception area, not easy for older people with a heavy suitcase, we then stood around 10 minutes waiting to check in as there was no staff at reception. Then told that parking was £10 per night which we hadn’t seen listed anywhere, we also had to pay a £150.00 damage deposit (Refundable) which we also knew nothing about, we’re in our 60’s, we’re hardly going to wreck the room! “1st time at the Ruskin, stayed three nights bed and breakfast, absolutely delighted, most definitely will be back. the staff were brilliant, friendly. polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, our room was spotless (as was the hotel in general),the bar service was spot on with a great choice of drinks and food, the entertainment every night in the cabaret lounge was really good, all in all a great weekend.”
