“The room looked better than the photos online. It was spotless and everything was just right - the linens, the carpet, the water temperature in the shower. Sam was an amazing host - when there was an issue with the booking and I encountered issues trying to resolve it with the booking platform - she was helpful and reassuring. My stay was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - loved the granary bread and I forgot to ask Sam about the coffee - exceptional blend, I want to buy some....

Firstly its impossible to get any email/facebook response, they just ignore you On arrival there was a massive line for check in so it took about 40 mins waiting in a hot reception area. Requested a high floor, didnt get one. Room was like a sauna with no air con and no fan. No toilet roll in the room, not even 1. Shower curtain was just stored on the floor Then on the last day we walked up to our room for our key card to not work so had to walk all the way back to...

“The reception experience was not good. It was advertised as bed and breakfast but when I got there, I was told that I had to pay extra for the breakfast and never saw anyone to cook the breakfast if I wanted one.”

“The room was very dusty. There was brick dust on the bathroom walls together with cobwebs. There was dust stacked on the hand basin waste and mould on the curtains. To get hot water to the basin you had to run the tap for at least 10 minutes and you could not get any hot water to the shower at all. The car park was a joke....7 or 8 spaces for a 40 room hotel.”

“Not very good access if you have wheelchairs buggies, prams or heavy luggage very large steps into the hotel not good if you are a bit unstable on your feet lift is very outdated noisy and quite frightening. You can see daylight when door is closed to the room quite tight spaces between the toilet and the shower. One of the beds was actually broken not a good choice of tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities in the rooms no bottled water.”

“reception staff arrogant wanted to date your money then not interested £50 for parking went to room smelt a cat and dog wee come down out lift dog weed didn’t lift. went to bar area no draft beer bottles £3.50 each no entertainment one DJ with broken television no swimming pool as advertised bedroom second one broken floor in bathroom one light smelly carpet and never so cleaner whole week very disappointed will not go back and watch for being ripped off with this hotel spent most of week next...

“When we got there we was upgraded which was really nice. The room was okay the bed Will comfy but from 2 am the noise was horrendous. There were fighting on the corridors what sounded like someone smashing the rooms up we have no sleep at all and had to drive back an hour and a half to get home. There were girls screaming banging on our door was awful not happy at all”

“The lady on the front reception desk was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are very clean, a little old fashioned but it's what you expect for this kind of hotel. Can't grumble at the price. Very pleased with our stay”

“Staff lovely and accommodating, room was spacious, lovely view of the river, comfy bed and clean fresh bathroom. Had a lovely evening meal in the sun by the river, and breakfast was great. And all for a very reasonable price, would definitely stay again”

“Not suitable for disabled as up 3 flights of stairs. Did have decent shower in smallish bathroom, no lock on door. It was an ideal position for access to main Blackpool sites. Area OK although a bit rough outside. I was disappointed with the apartment, not like photos, needs some upgrading. This was the Hunter suite.
