“The room looked better than the photos online. It was spotless and everything was just right - the linens, the carpet, the water temperature in the shower. Sam was an amazing host - when there was an issue with the booking and I encountered issues trying to resolve it with the booking platform - she was helpful and reassuring. My stay was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - loved the granary bread and I forgot to ask Sam about the coffee - exceptional blend, I want to buy some....

“The room was very dusty. There was brick dust on the bathroom walls together with cobwebs. There was dust stacked on the hand basin waste and mould on the curtains. To get hot water to the basin you had to run the tap for at least 10 minutes and you could not get any hot water to the shower at all. The car park was a joke....7 or 8 spaces for a 40 room hotel.”

“Staff lovely and accommodating, room was spacious, lovely view of the river, comfy bed and clean fresh bathroom. Had a lovely evening meal in the sun by the river, and breakfast was great. And all for a very reasonable price, would definitely stay again”

“Not a great hotel! Firstly its impossible to get any email/facebook response, they just ignore you On arrival there was a massive line for check in so it took about 40 mins waiting in a hot reception area. Requested a high floor, didnt get one. Room was like a sauna with no air con and no fan. No toilet roll in the room, not even 1. Shower curtain was just stored on the floor Then on the last day we walked up to our room for our key card to not work so had to walk all the way back to...

“The reception experience was not good. It was advertised as bed and breakfast but when I got there, I was told that I had to pay extra for the breakfast and never saw anyone to cook the breakfast if I wanted one.”

“i thought it was all good , deco , to rooms , staff , pools , only thing i didn’t know it was scottish holidays so lots of kids there and wanted a peace break , so only stayed one night”

“Lovely owners, lovely room, great breakfast (wide cereal selection & cooked option). The bedroom and bathroom were both so spacious and there was a large amount of storage space. Very clean. Nice location. We would have stayed longer if we had time.”

“Perfect stay for the weekend, lovely view all the amenities you could possibly need, shame about the outside patio area certainly not like in the photos on line. Needs a good tidy up and clean. Other than that perfect stay. ”

“Had such a good stay here room was excellent had everything we needed the breakfast was simply fantastic. There is nothing the owners won’t do to make your stay the best it can be so helpful knowledgeable and just very down to earth nice welcoming people. I can’t recommend it enough as you will have to try it for yourself and you won’t be disappointed.”

“Lovely stay at The Brooklyn Hotel. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, very approachable and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, the bed so comfortable and the linen fresh and pristine. The breakfast was delicious catering for all tastes. I would highly recommend this hotel and this is where we will definitely stay on our next visit to Blackpool.”
