“Beautiful hotel in a great location and the staff were kind enough to let us work from the bar until our rooms were ready. Valet parking was easy. Pre-check in was fine but check in when our rooms were ready was a faff and took longer than it should have as the staff were repeating the steps completed at pre check in. My room was lovely but very noisy so windows are single pane (the hotel is a listed building) but there was what sounded like construction noise outside/nearby all night which...

“We had mixed feelings about our stay at King Street Townhouse. On the plus side, the room was lovely—beautifully designed, comfortable, and exactly the high standard you’d expect from a boutique hotel. However, the main reason we booked was for the rooftop infinity pool, which was out of action during our stay. Given this is the hotel’s flagship feature, it was a massive letdown. What made it worse was that no goodwill gesture or compensation was offered for the inconvenience.”
