“Welcoming and home like apartment. Host's mother met us at the stairs to take us to the apartment and arranged transportation for after our stay. Snacks were provided for us. The town was charming and was one of our favorite places during our trip. The host asked us to try his father's olive oil and it was delicious!”

Problems: hot water/ not enough for 6 people to have even very short showers —2 are tiny showers (4.5sq ft)—so water on bathed floor made for slippery footing; beds “firm” (1 lumpy); kitchen- minimal when cooking dinner for 6; had to use outdoor table & borrow chairs from blue apt to have seating for 6. “The view from the balcony overlooking Salerno and the coast was amazing. You could actually watch the big cruise ships coming in, in the distance. But the practicalities of this location certainly are superior . It is close to the ferries. So that you can go to Amalfi locations up and down the coast. It is also close to the train station. We went to Rome in about a little more than one hour on the fast train. Once you arrive, you can go just by anywhere you want via train or via ferry. The air...

“My family and i had a fabulous 9 night stay at the Garden of the Vesuvius. Fortunato was a fantastic host. So welcoming and incredibly helpful with information about the local area. He went above and beyond. The pastries at breakfast time on our first and last mornings were delicious! The facilities at the property were brilliant. It was clean and well equipped. The beds were super comfortable and the pool was an absolutely amazing bonus. Perfect when the temperature was in the 30s! Terzigno...

“The place looked exact the way the pictures show. The steps to and from the street were steep but expected. The general location to restaurants and shopping were good. We tried to walk every time up and back but that lasted only 2 days. We took taxi”s that were expensive but it really beat the walk. The view from the courtyard was impressive and beautiful. Our check in was flawless even though it was late at night. We could not be happier with our selection of a place to stay”
