Great break near Alghero

This Villa is very quiet and private with extensive outdoor spaces. The hosts are very helpful. We had a great break. Very relaxing for just two of us but it would also be great for kids as the outside spaces are exceptional.

Ein schöner Urlaub in privater Lage

Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Grundstück liegt ein wenig abseits von der Straße umgeben von wunderschöner Natur. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und Francesco ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber. Die Nähe zu Alghero und dem Meer hat die Sache dann perfekt gemacht.

Sehr großes Grundstück, schön und grundsätzlich ruhig in der Landschaft gelegen. Großer Pool, in dem man gut schwimmen kann. Zwei große überdachte Terrassen mit guten Möbeln. Nach Alghero nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto. Zu den Stränden etwas weiter, wenn man nicht gerade an den Stadtstrand möchte. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Haus und in Alghero insgesamt genossen und würden sicher wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes Haus und Garten, schöner großer Pool. Es war alles vorhanden was wir benötigten. Vermieter ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer absolute Ruhe und Privatsphäre sucht ist hier genau richtig.

Wonderful stay in Alghero

Super toller Urlaub

Sehr schönes Ferienobjekt. Man hat alles was man benötigt und kann sich total erholen. Liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, aber zum Einkaufen u. an die Strände ist es nicht weit. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Sehr nette Vermieter.

Ein traumhafter Urlaub

Wir hatten eine traumhaft schöne und ruhige Zeit in der Villa Mirta! Francesco mit seiner Tochter sind sehr hilfsbereite Vermieter und sollte was nicht passen, kümmert Francesco sich sofort darum. Wir können dieses Haus nur weiterempfehlen!!!

Nous avons été accueillis à la Villa Mirta avec beaucoup de gentillesse, de bienveillance et d'attention. La villa est encore plus belle et plus spacieuse que sur les photos. Elle est en pleine nature, à proximité de tout. La piscine est extraordinaire.En un mot : nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances, la Sardaigne et ses Habitants nous ont charmés.Nous remercions particulièrement nos Hôtes pour la qualité de leur accueil et pour leur sympathie. Absolutely fantastic!! The house is amazing and beautiful with everything you could possibly need, from comfy beds, air conditioning in every room and a well fitted and thought out kitchen and dining area to enjoy. Outside there are several balconies with lots of seating and tables to dine out on with views looking out to the hills. A lovely green garden had sun loungers, big umbrellas and a BBQ. The pool is perfect with both kids and adults swimming well into the night under the stars. Our hosts were incredibly kind, helpful and thoughtful, always available for any questions. The house is just ten minutes drive from the best beaches and Alghero center, but far enough away to enjoy absolute peace and relaxation. A slice of heaven that we will always remember and hope to return to.

a lovely place to stay in Alghero

We had a wonderful two weeks staying at Franco’s lovely house in Alghero. Franco and his family were friendly, kind, generous, welcoming, responsive and helpful throughout. The property and pool were fantastic and just what we were hoping for. The weather was very kind to us during our two weeks and there was plenty of outside space to relax in. The communal areas inside is also spacious and comfortable. It is very secure with an electric gate at the entrance. Many thanks for everything Franco (including the pastries and cakes!) and we hope to see you again before too long.

A WONDERFUL STAYING

Giorgio and I spent 10 days at Villa Myrta early June. Wonderful villa, very very clean. Very well equipped, beautiful garden full of flowers and an outstanding pool, so so clean. Well THE place to be for wonderful holidays. On top the house is very well located, in the countryside but so near to Alghero. Francesco has been wonderful. So were his daughter and wife. All was well organized: meeting point, check in and out, explanations on equipments. Francesco was always available for any demand. Honestly there is nothing else to say if : WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND VILLA MYRTA!

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter, schnelle Reaktion bei Kontaktaufnahme und schnelle Unterstützung bei fehlenden Dingen oder Problemen.Es gab Gebäck, Softdrink, Wasserflaschen als Geschenk während des Aufenthalts.Sehr großes Grundstück mit großem Pool ruhig gelegen am Ende einer privaten Zufahrtsstraße.Großzügige Terrassen mit Sitzgelegenheiten und Beschattungsmöglichkeiten. Das Haus war bei Ankunft in einem sauberen Zustand. Toilettenpapier vorhanden. Fliegengitter an fast allen Fenstern und Türen vorhanden, teils mit eingeschränkter Funktion.Matratzen in den Schlafzimmern sehr weich.Das Haus und die Ausstattung sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, so manches sollte ersetzt oder repariert werden um das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ausgewogen zu halten und den den Mietpreis zu rechtfertigen.

Tolles Ferienhaus

Villa Mirta hat uns außerordentlich gut gefallen. Das Haus hat vollends unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen, das Haus ist gro0zügig eingerichtet und für 4 Personen ausreichend. Gerade bei den hohen Außentemperaturen waren die Klimaanlagen in allen Räumen ein Segen. Die Küche hat alle Ausstattungen die man benötigt. Die Außenanlage ist weitläufig, mit vier großen Sonnensegeln und vier Liegen auf dem Rasen vor dem großen Pool ausgestattet. Das ganze Gelände ist vollkommen uneinsehbar und liegt in einer ruhigen abgelegenen Lage, man ist aber in 5 Minuten zu mehreren Supermärkten und der Innenstadt von Alghero. Besonders erwähnungswert sind der nette Empfang und die Betreuung von Franco und seiner Frau. Franco hat stets seine Poolreinigung vorher per WhatsApp angekündigt. Rundum eine empfehlenswerte FeWo.

Lovely stay outside Alghero

Really enjoyed our week staying at Franco's house. Warm welcome on arrival by him and his daughter who showed us around and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and beaches. Lots of outside space for the kids to run around. Short drive (10 mins) into centre of town and 5 min drive to supermarkets. Lots of great beaches within 10-25 min drive (our favourite was Mugoni). So many fabulous restaurants in Alghero to chose between, and a lovely old town to walk around. Bedrooms are simple but fine for what we needed, with ample storage. Kitchen facilities are simple but sufficient (no dishwasher). Swimming pool was very clean and large, accessible by a ladder at one end. The pool has a ledge on one side which our smaller kids couldn't use to climb out from (fine for larger kids and adults), but they enjoyed jumping in the pool from it. Gorgeous sunsets sitting on the veranda. Franco was quick to respond to any questions we had through the week. Overall we loved our stay, thanks Franco.

super villa with pool in peaceful location

We stayed for 2 weeks at Franco's villa just outside Alghero. The location really is fantastic - we were looking for a villa that is away from town and not overlooked, with a pool and plenty of space, but close enough to civilisation for everything you need on a holiday. This has all of these. The villa is accessed down a track leading to automatic gates onto a lit drive of cypress trees, which opens out onto a plot with super views across the local countryside. It is very quiet and peaceful, with just the sound of insects and birds (plus plenty of geckos and the occasional passing tortoise!). Despite this, it’s only a few minutes’ drive to an excellent bakery, and a supermarket, with the town of Alghero only a few minutes further on. The property was well equipped - only comment would be it could benefit from a kettle (and larger mugs for the English tea drinkers), scissors and some larger glasses (we added a few while we were there). Air conditioning was high quality and very much needed for relief from the 34 degree heat. The pool is a good size, warm and well maintained, and there is plenty of outdoor space with sun shades and loungers. Franco and his daughter were excellent hosts, providing very rapid response to any questions before and during our stay, as well as a much appreciated 'dolce selection' delivered during the weekly pool servicing. There is a restaurant within walking distance although we went there only the once as it was a bit too formal for us. There are plenty of other nice places to eat in Alghero and all around the area (Sa Sevada is a great choice for good food with lively atmosphere after you go to see the sunset at Spiaggia di Porticciolo). Overall the villa provides an excellent location to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside, as well as a base from which to explore local towns and all the amazing beaches of North West Sardinia with their warm clear waters (be prepared for crowded beaches in peak season – but we often went later in afternoon when they thin out and it’s a much nicer temperature too). A car is essential!

Tolle Unterkunft mit super Lage

Eine Unterkunft wie wir uns sie gewünscht haben. Es ist alles Vorhanden was man für einen mehrwöchigen Urlaub benötigt. Teller Töpfe Besteck etc im Überfluss. Das habe ich auch schon in anderen Häusern ganz anders erlebt. Wir waren zu zweit und sind für 3 Wochen geblieben. Es war phantastisch. Der Pool ist übrigens größer als man auf den Bildern erkennen kann. 15 x 3m schätze ich mal. Natürlich haben die Sonnenschirme nicht mehr dieses leuchtend gelbe wie auf den Bildern, aber sie spenden Schatten und funktionieren tadellos. Das schöne an dieser Unterkunft ist dass immer ein wenig Wind ( manchmal auch etwas stärker ) bläst und sich dadurch die Hitze super ertragen lässt. Ausstattung :Wie erwähnt ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, und was mich ganz besonders beeindruckt hat war dass alles was man zu Kochen benötigt vorhanden war. Olivenöl, Essig Gewürze ein paar Nudeln usw. Sogar Wein und Wasser waren da. Die Matratzten im Elternschlafzimmer sind sehr gut, die 2 Betten im Kinderzimmer haben wir nicht genutzt und können dazu nichts sagen. Es gibt SAT TV mit 2-3 deutschen Programmen. Einen kleinen Wehrmutstropfen gibt es aber, die Couch hat schon bessere Tage gesehen und müsste demnächst mal ausgetauscht werden. Aber wer braucht eine Couch auf Sardinien ? Vermieter : Franco und Franca sind sehr herzlich und bemüht alles für ihre Gäste zu tun. Wirklich toll. Wir haben ihre Hilfe nicht benötigt weil alles in Ordnung war. Die Klimaanlagen wurden ebenfalls nicht benötigt weil man im Haus einen super durchzug hin bekommt :-) Lage : Die Lage ist perfekt. Man Wohnt auf einer Anhöhe in der Nähe von Alghero. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto und man ist in der Altstadt. Nachbarn gibt es zwar aber waren völlig unauffällig und wir waren wirklich alleine weit und breit. Einen Nachteil hat die Lage natürlich auch. Durch die Nähe zu Alghero hat man auch die Nähe zur Superstrada, was bedeutet man hat je nach Windrichtung mehr oder weniger ein "rauschen", also man hört halt einfach die Autos und Motorräder. Ich will es mal so formulieren, man hat absolute Ruhe, aber eben keine Stille. Übrigens Musik von der einige hundert Meter entfernten Disko oder sonstige abentliche Stör-Geräusche waren auch bei größten Anstrengungen nicht zu vernehmen. Was da geschrieben wurde kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Alles in allem wirklich tolle Unterkunft mit tollen vermietern Wir kommen wieder, das ist sicher !

Great stay. Very good location.

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids We were very well received by the family. Extremely friendly. Very helpful. You could count on them. The house is just 10min by car from the center of Alghero which is great in the evening. Alghero is fun. Lots of things to do. 20 min from great beaches. 5 min from main super markets. This is for relaxing holidays. You do not see any neighbours. Neighbours cannot see you either. Modern house. Comfortable beds. You get a welcome package. The swimming pool has a great size and length. Lots of toys around. Great to jump in every morning and do the morning swimming. The staircase to the pool needs improvement. The bathroom is a bit small but then you are not often there. But you need a car. A house to recommend. Marc

Vacanza piacevole e rilassante

La casa è molto bella, indipendente, con un enorme giardino attorno. Ci sono diversi balconi coperti dove poter mangiare o soggiornare a tutte le ore. La piscina è grande e c'è anche un bel barbecue. La posizione è ottima perchè si trova in campagna, quindi è molto tranquilla, ma è ugualmente comoda in quanto in 10 minuti si arriva ad Alghero. Anche l'interno è spazioso, pulito e molto ben tenuto e accessoriato di tutto (tostapane, macchina del caffè, microonde, ecc.). I proprietari, Francesco e Franca sono gentilissimi e ci hanno fatto trovare dei dolcetti, latte e bevande per la colazione. Consigliamo sicuramente questa location per una vacanza rilassante e per scoprire la bellissima zona di Alghero.
