As a tourist who likes to walk and take in every possible sight, the location in the city center , could not have been better. In addition , it was surrounded by small restaurants offering almost every ethnic food one could think of, as well as many countless traditional pubs. “Lovely property, spacious room, plenty of parking and room to store my bike safely. My evening meal was delicious and a good choice at breakfast, which was included in the room rate, a rarity these day! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Thank you”

“Good central spot to stay within easy walking distance to shopping area, the Shambles, the City Wall, Clifford Tower and York Minster. Nice pastries for breakfast. Parking available at the hotel and having a kitchen and free laundry facilities was a welcome addition. ”
