“We stayed in one of the cottages which although a bit dated offer a lot of space and character. The room itself was spotless and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Loftsome bridge although off a main road for convenience is lovely and quite due to it being a good distant back from it, so you get the best of both worlds a good nights sleep and connectivity to all the local attractions with York not being too far away. “This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back ”

Great attention to detail - there was even a supply of cotton buds and a small sewing kit! Really conveniently located to get to York centre, and the bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in! Will 100% stay here again when visiting York.”

“Bellissima casa in stile vittoriano, sicuramente non per gli amanti della modernità ma per chi adora calarsi nelle atmosfere vintage. La colazione, tipicamente inglese, nel suo genere è ottima. Il centro città può essere raggiunto facilmente a piedi, ma non manca la fermata del bus nelle vicinanze . Mi mancava solo Miss Marple!”

“Un albergo che,anche se distante dal centro di York,offre il meglio dell'albergatoria inglese:confort,silenzio,eleganza,calore.Il fatto di essere fuori città non crea disagio perchè un delizioso sentiero lungo il fiume porta in città a piedi in 40 minuti,oppure l'autobus n.11 ferma proprio davanti all'hotel,ed ovviamente i taxi che portano a destinazione in 10 minuti con una spesa più che onesta.E' un paradiso in mezzo ai prati che solo in inghilterra sono così verdi!”

“On arrival the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, the room was spotless and better than advertised the minimal shop downstairs was more than adequate the only criticism is the parking situation but you are made aware well in advance overall a fantastic stay and would recommend.”

I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. I cant wait to return. Top boutique hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I'm so glad I booked here! ”
