“Disappointing - very dirty pee stained mattress. I’ve emailed the hotel twice to avoid leaving this negative feedback online - but no reply, so here goes … There was an odd smell in the small room, I pulled back the sheets to see a big yellow pee stain on the mattress on one side, along with other stains across mattress. The big pee stain had also transferred to the mattress protector, which suggests the protector was put on the bed while the stain was still damp! I told reception, no apology...

“Great experience. The building is quaint, cozy, with a unique design and interior decoration. Beautiful dining area and bar. The room (ground floor), was spacious and with a lovely art deco interior. Very nice shower with good water pressure, nice choice of shower gels and other amenities. “Struttura moderna, camera spaziosa e molto pulita, personale cortese e disponibile, prezzo ottimo e soprattutto posizionato a due passi dal centro di York. Se il parcheggio interno è al completo, la struttura offre la possibilità di posteggiare nel centro commerciale adiacente ad un prezzo di circa 8 euro per 24H. Consigliatissimo”

“The real problem is that the spa is not working and that’s the reason why I stayed in the hotel. I should have been notified same way I got a message about how busy is the restaurant and that needs to be booked beforehand. ”

“The room was meant to be soundproof but could hear next door for starters, then we seen it wasn’t a king size bed but two single beds put together which wasn’t very comfortable to say the least. Also two of the rooms I’d say are used for permanent residence. Then passing pedestrians through the night was noisy was irritating to say the least. We couldn’t work the heating system for the room. ”

Breakfast was fresh with a wide selection of options available while other restaurant meals served well after a day of activity. Staff were friendly and happy to help with our enquiries. Would recommend this hotel.”
