“Bellissima casa in stile vittoriano, sicuramente non per gli amanti della modernità ma per chi adora calarsi nelle atmosfere vintage. La colazione, tipicamente inglese, nel suo genere è ottima. Il centro città può essere raggiunto facilmente a piedi, ma non manca la fermata del bus nelle vicinanze . Mi mancava solo Miss Marple!”

“I stayed only a few nights and had wonderful experience. Place is relatively easy to find - this relaxing walk through the green park was a big joyful bonus. Very clean room, comfy bed, good shower. Attention to detail in any aspect. So, it was a real pleasure to return to my room after spending a day in a busy town. Thank you Fiona and Ricardo for making my stay so special. I won't hesitate to rebook again.”

“Great location- walking was easy to everything. Wonderful welcoming and helpful staff and reception. Breakfast was excellent. Large room and bathroom. Super comfortable bed. Couldn’t fault anything. Value for money!”

“Staff are helpful and kind, and the property is very aesthetically pleasing. Super location for getting into the city easily. Though keep in mind it's an old building so the windows don't fully open, there's no AC and the fan they provide does absolutely nothing to cool you down...so with the warm weather be prepared to bake.”

“Great experience. The building is quaint, cozy, with a unique design and interior decoration. Beautiful dining area and bar. The room (ground floor), was spacious and with a lovely art deco interior. Very nice shower with good water pressure, nice choice of shower gels and other amenities. The plumbing in the toilet was a bit iffy, but nothing too serious. Very comfortable bed, with soft pillows (this is my preference so I was happy with it). “Un albergo molto confortevole e gestito con passione in una zona comoda per la stazione ed il centro cittadino. Una buona colazione. Edificio classico inglese.”

“Bella camera pulita e spaziosa. Un bell’hotel in una bella città. Zona silenziosa e centrale, comoda per negozi ,attrazioni e ristoranti.La colazione è buona e compresa nel prezzo. Il personale gentile ma non troppo disponibile. L’ ultimo giorno avevo il treno alle sette ed ho chiesto per avere la colazione da portare via ,visto che il sabato iniziano tardi, alle sette. Ci hanno dato un sacchettino piuttosto “imbarazzante”. Forse era meglio evitare…”

“A wonderful, clean,air condtioned room and staff can be contacted 24/7 if any problems. Bed was very comfortable and being left a small bottle of milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Parking was no problem at all in front of buillding. Did have any food but all looked lovely. Would definately recommend.”
