Hotel vicino a Alley Pond Park - New York

“Breakfast was just okay. Not that many choices but since free they do okay. Hotel is older than I imagined - online photos are deceiving. Only one (1) elevator but the wait wasn’t too long; can just imagine how it would be w/ 1 elevator if hotel was very busy. Staff assistance came through for me — no microwaves in room but they sent one up to my room when I asked.”

I love to stay here every time I come here it smells great like my mind gets calm and fresh and I am so obsessed with the rooms I love them so much nice cozy bed extra space in king suites and their aminities are fabulous. “I always stay here when visiting my son in school. It has everything I need for a short term stay - microwave, coffee maker, fridge and an excellent (firm) bed. Plenty of free parking and a wonderful Chinese restaurant next door. The AC and heat system can be a bit noisy. And while there is nothing ‘fancy’ about the place and the walkway to the rooms could use some sprucing up, that is nothing compared to the convenience, friendliness and efficiency of the Manhasset Travelodge. “The room was clean but it did not have an iron nor iron board. Main staircase entrance to the hotel were not clean. Night shift housekeeping was cleaning the hallways at very late hours causing sleep deprivation due to high levels of noise.”

“The experience was through and through horrible. When I checked in the guy said that this is a non-smoking room, which was weird because it should be given. And when I then came into the room, it actually smelled a lot like cold thick cigarette smoke, that sat in the polstery.”

“Tahmid is great at reception. You need extra towels and pillows because the central a/c gets cold and you can not control it. No smart tv Available. Limited parking. Ask for extra blanket”

“Wonderful, comfortable, and pleasant stay with my family at this location. Breakfast was a little more than anticipated as far as cost for a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I do wish they had kaiser rolls instead of a hamburger style bun for the sandwich. The bed was amazing and I absolutely loved how hot the shower got. I would definitely stay again if I'm in the Queens area.”
