Or, enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub, an ideal spot to end a busy day of adventures.



When you are ready to tuck in for the night, the home comfortably accommodates you with 2 bedrooms and a loft spread across 2 levels. A main floor master bedroom offers a private retreat with a king bed, TV, dresser, and an en-suite bath with radiant floor heat and a large walk-in closet. Head upstairs to find an open loft space with a queen bed, plush couch, and a quiet workspace with a desk and office chair, making this a dynamic room to fit all of your needs during your stay. Just down the hall on the upper floor is the second bedroom, an inviting room with a queen bed and an en-suite bath that includes radiant floor heat and a walk-in shower. Two balconies on the upper level add extra space to step out and enjoy the fresh mountain air. A large mudroom on the main floor offers a convenient space to unload your outdoor gear, and keep up with any laundry needs, and includes the home’s third bathroom, a full bath with a bathtub/shower combo. This home offers the perfect blend of comfort, entertainment, and privacy, ensuring a memorable stay for your group or family getaway.



Guest Access:

4 Guests will have access to the house and outside areas. Guests will also have access to parking in the driveway, with room forcars.



The Neighborhood:

This property is nestled between Alma and Fairplay, two charming, high-altitude mountain towns rich in mining history and summer recreation. As the highest incorporated town in North America, Alma offers a cool alpine escape from the summer heat. Outdoor enthusiasts will find themselves at the epicenter of Colorado hiking, with immediate access to multiple famous 14ers, including Mt. Bross, Mt. Democrat, Mt. Sherman, and the renowned DeCaLiBron Loop. Summer highlights also include attending the historic Fairplay Rodeo, fishing at Lake Criterion, or embarking on an offroading excursion over Mosquito Pass for panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains.



The local community comes alive in the warmer months with casual dining spots, unique shops, and historical landmarks like Buckskin Joe. For an easy day trip, take a short drive over the pass to Breckenridge to explore its bustling summer Main Street, complete with outdoor concerts, farmers markets, art galleries, and scenic lift rides at the resort.



Getting Around:

This home is located just off Highway 9, the main highway in the area that runs from Alma and Fairplay up to Blue River and Breckenridge to the north. Its close proximity to this major highway and Highway 285 makes it easy to get on the road wherever your adventures take you. This area is known for its proximity to many of the region’s wonderful outdoor adventure locations, such as Breckenridge Ski Resort and several 14ers, including Mount Quandary and Mount Cross. The towns of Fairplay and Alma are within a 10-minute drive from the home. The Summit Stage Free Bus' Park County Commuter Route stops in both Fairplay and Alma, providing FREE transport all the way into Breckenridge.

Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.



Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.



Please note that during the winter, there may be road closures or delays. We recommend checking local road conditions and using a 4WD or AWD vehicle with snow tires or chains for safe travel.



Please note that the basement level including the garage is not available to guests and is locked off.
