Hotel a Almonds

“Really lovely place to stay, exactly what I needed. I got a free upgrade as well which was a treat! If I need to stay in the area again, I’ll be coming back here.”

“Polite and friendly staff, easy check in and perfect for one night layover”

“Good value for the money”

“Good comfortable bed, good clean linen. Very convenient location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Check-in was very easy. Overall very good, would highly recommend”

“Lovely old hotel, rooms are a bit dated and could do with a makeover , but the bed was clean and comfortable, the shower was hot, towels were clean, there was tea/ coffee/ milk, a mini fridge, and the tv worked... enough room for me.”

“Very clean modern spacious cabin with a lake view on one side verandah.(146) Very quiet as my cabin was in the middle of some permanent cabins. The down side was on the other side your view was of an old car and rubbish bin. A tree planted here would fix this. A bit further out of town than I thought but shuttle buses were happy to pick up and drop off. It was great just sitting on deck or by lake relaxing I ended up staying an extra night but still didnt want to leave.”

“What a great location and the staff were amazing. The view over the lake was very impressive. The club had a lot to offer, was an enjoyable break.”

“Although motel looks old , but it is very clean and in good condition. It has Good car park area and friendly staff .It is Very close to lake and restaurants and cafes. I think the rooms are better than what you see in photos and it is maybe under rated.”

“Great place”

“Nice bright refurbished room overlooked the sportsgrounds. Nice to hear the birds in the morning. The internet was incredibly slow, and we had to use our own data. Convenient location for walking into the city.”

“Liked everything, staff excellent only very minor problem was no coat hangers but i guess they are hard to keep. Will return.”

“The room was nice and clean, price was great and the location was perfect. Beds are on the softer side and very comfortable.”

“Room was clean but the bed was like sleeping on a brick. Plus the linen and blanket were undersized for a king bed. Great location plus quiet.”
