“Good value for money and friendly host. I would give it 3.5 stars. The property has a lovely garden and view of the lake but best suits someone with a car as there is a limited bus timetable to and from Varenna and is not suitable for walking. We travelled in October so perhaps there may be better transport options in the summer months. The room had everything we needed but could do with some updating.”

“L'appartamento mansardato al secondo piano della bella villa da noi affittato è comodo e carino. L'unico neo del posto, che ovviamente non toglie fascino all'appartamento, sono tutti gli scalini che vanno dalla strada al secondo piano della villa. Comunque esperienza positiva.”

“The property and views were wonderful and Mr. Luigi was fantastic. PLEASE do yourself a favor and enter the address into Google or Apple Maps and DO NOT rely on the map within the VRBO app. It is wrong. This Villa is up the hill in Perledo and not very accessible walking. We made due but it was certainly not where VRBO leads you to believe it is.”

“We took a bus from Nesso to Torno and had difficulty finding the property. Then, because we were late for check-in, we had to wait another several hours, which was very bothersome . But once we got to the beautiful property, everything was great, especially the nice balcony with views of the lake and mountains. Especially pleasurable were the park-like setting and walks including a relatively short walk into the charming little town of Torno and its market, bars and restaurants. ”

“Secondo soggiorno in questa villetta circondata da un grande giardino molto curato e boschi. La vista sul lago è stupenda, tranquillità assicurata... La proprietaria Vilma è molto disponibile ma soprattutto simpaticissima. Ritornerò senza dubbio!”
