Hotel vicino a Althaus Wetland and Nature Preserve - Dubuque

“The rooms were not clean. The TV was outdated. There were stains on the carpet, bugs in the light fixtures, and the paint was chipped off the walls. Our room key stopped working and the man at the front desk was unapologetic. The elevator was jerky and the door barely opened. The food was cold and unappealing. This hotel should be shut down or the price should be dropped significantly.”

“There was never anyone at the front desk had to call a number and wait for someone and the hot water was terrible it took 25 minutes with the water running constantly to even begin to get warm water it never fully got hot ”

“The room and bathroom and bedroom was very clean. So is the kitchen. The staff is also extremely helpful. Unfortunately, in our first room, the microwave did not work at all so they switched us to another room where there were two microwaves. One did not work, but the other one did work. Also, our first room seemed to have all of the pots and pans that we would have needed in the second room. So I guess if you need pots and pans and cups and things like that at the front desk because...

“Location was best part of this hotel. Pool was on the cool side. Pool room smelled heavily of chlorine. Breakfast left alot to desire. Room itself was ok althought toilet and sink did not work great, and shampoo and conditioner that was provided was empty. ”

“I never got to check in. There was zero staff present nor did they pick up the phone the numerous times I called and when I was standing in the Lobby. ”

“Waterpark was closed, so that was a bummer and not advertised on Expedia. But the main concern, was the fire alarm went off at 3am and the entire hotel had to evacuate. There was something wrong with the alarm in my room, as it emitted a typical loud fire alarm sound-but for some reason, it also emitted an extremely high pitch sound that was the loudest thing i have ever heard in my life.
