Amazing home!
Maria, our hostess, was amazing at helping us navigate our travel to her home and communicating with us while were were there. Her home has breath taking views from the patio, every comfort of home--with added touches like welcoming Prosecco, a wine selection for inexpensive purchase, fluffy robes and cooking supplies. Her home was immaculate and quiet! My only regret was that we didn't stay longer--which Maria warned us about! I highly recommend this property and hope to return some day!

AMAZING!!!
Maria and the local contact Laura were amazing. Making us dinner reservations, giving us insights and where to go and what to do during the day, and even helping us get our car back when it was towed. Within about 30 minutes, she found the car, and walked us through how to get it back. 10/10 would recommend to anyone heading to Amalfi!

A great place to stay just outside Amalfi. Beautiful 30 minute walk into Amalfi. Our host Maria was communicative and provided lots of information and recommendations about the area. The concierge, Laura was also very helpful in getting us settled, providing recommendations and making reservations for us. The home suited our needs very well and the view from the balcony alone makes the place well worth the stay. The bus stop at the base of the stairs was very convenient, whether you dont feel like walking into Amafi, or if you want to do a day trip into Sorrento, Positano, or Revello. There are a lot of stairs to get into the house however, if you don't like stairs, the Amalfi coast is not for you. Highly recommend!

Beautiful
This property is absolutely stunning. Even though there are 120 steps to reach the house, the view is worth every step. The bus stops right in front of the steps so very convenient to travel to other cities. The house has plenty of space for a couple and again - THE VIEW - WOW - AWESOME! I would highly recommend staying at this property. I know if my husband and I are fortunate enough to return to the Amalfi Coast we would stay here again. Maria and concierge, Laura were so very helpful with recommendations for eating, taxi service and activities. Laura even took care of making reservations for us.

Perfect Amalfi Getaway
We spent a week here and loved it! The location is great - about 1-1/2 miles from the town of Amalfi, from which all the towns along the coast are easily accessible by ferry. We loved sitting on the terrace, sipping wine while watching the super-yachts come and go. Laura, the concierge was invaluable providing tips and advice as well as dinner reservations and scooter rental. Our time in Amalfi was everything we'd hoped it would be. Thank you!

Incredible Views
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Maria's property over a 3 day weekend. The apartment was as described with a beautiful view of the Amalfi coast. We enjoyed drinking wine on the balcony and the AC when sleeping at night. Laura was a tremendous help with arranging car services, making recommendations and reservations during our stay. I would definitely come back to this property and hopefully stay for a longer period of time.

Since this is first time we have received a 2 star ,I wanted to respond , Sir we advised you via email to best ways to teach our home , you ignored and arrived by the worst possible way even after I again advised to best options .Also bus stops in front of our home to go to anywhere on the Amalfi coast . We are clear to the location and arrival directions , and after 150 + Five star reviews yours is very shocking comments . Im sorry you could not comment Any positive thoughts of our home except you decided to arrive and depart by way of Salerno which required backtracking , , we advised you to other better options . . We will review our directions to our home and make further communication to future guests not to backtrack coming from Salerno since that is out of the way . Sometimes we all can get confused attempting to watch every penny and think we are saving money All our best

Is this real?
We had the most amazing stay in Maria’s home in Amalfi! The terrace was hands down the highlight of the trip with views that were like a fairytale. Laura’s help with everything from drivers to fantastic restaurant reservations with the most incredible food, views, and personal touches…not to mention a lemon grove experience and tour with the chef! Meeting Laura for a drink and we have made a new friend for sure! We can not rave enough about our stay here and the absolute beauty of the coast. We will be back!!

Stunning views of the Amalfi Coast!
We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous home! 180-degree views of the coast. Maria, the owner, is very responsive and so helpful. Laura, the concierge whose service is included with this property, was FANTASTIC! It was wonderful to have this service as she was so very helpful with restaurants, parking (we had a car), and things to see and do. Book this property. You won't regret it!

Amazing stay in Amalfi!
We just left this beautiful property in Amalfi and I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay. It was a great, central location, with a stunning view. The property had everything we needed and was very comfortable. What made it outstanding was the property manager, Laura! She was warm and welcoming upon arrival and was so helpful in terms of navigating the area and coordinating activities and reservations. She made our trip one that we will never forget! We will be back!

Beautiful Amalfi pied-à-terre
Our host and concierge were amazing. We were welcomed when we arrived at the place which has no joke - 150 steps including flat to the pied-à-terre. But once you arrive, the view is breathtaking. There are other living units there and we met a party of 7 staying in one of the places but it is really quiet except for a rooster which crows all times of the day. So funny. Our concierge Laura brought us a caprese salad and charcuterie plate for our arrival lunch (an extra charge that would feed four easily) and we ate it for two days. The kitchen is cute and small but has all the amenities except a microwave oven. We didn’t cook but we did cut fresh fruit with the charcuterie and leftover salad that made a wonderful breakfast. Laura also bought a bottle of rose’ upon our request which we had with lunch and she gave a complimentary bottle of Prosecco which lasted our stay…so bubbly. Laura arranged car transport from Naples to Amalfi which we greatly appreciated as well as a boat tour. However, we ended up canceling our boat tour because we got a little seasick from a water taxi ride from Positano back to Amalfi. Laura made several dinner reservations for us, reservations are a must!! Marie, the host, provided so much great information, pack light, travel light, don’t rent a car due to parking and narrow roads and traffic. Highly recommend this place if you want a quiet romantic getaway. Although there is a place where 7 people can stay and party 🎉 in Amalfi if you wish…

Amazing views, perfect location, and a wonderful stay
The communication and support from Maria and Laura was fantastic. Both were very helpful with logistics and recommendations as well as reservations. The property is located on the eastern part of Conca dei Marini, and just west of Amalfi. This is a perfect place in Amalfi because you’re close enough to walk to either town (albeit with significant elevation and a small road, but that’s the entire Amalfi Coast). It’s also nice to be away from the crowds in Positano and Amalfi. We spent most of our time on the balcony watching boats transiting, staring at the water, and taking in the scenery. The property itself is small, but we didn’t need or want additional space because of the balcony and views. If I had one complaint, it would be the bed. They’ve done the best they can, and even put a mattress topper on, but I still found it a bit lumpy/uneven. Honestly, not a big deal, but worth mentioning if you’re a sensitive sleeper. 100% recommended and I’m hoping to return!

Big views and quiet location
I must start by saying our host was the most helpful, best communicating host I've ever encountered at any stay in any country. Laura set up a driver to pick us up, she arranged most reservations for restaurants, sent me links to take ferries, buses, where to shop etc. She was incredible. The location is about 2.5 kms from Amalfi. Taxis are tough to get, buses seem a bit unreliable. We walked in most of the time, along the super winding road, took about 30 minutes. It is a full 150 stone steps up to the apartment, which for many may be tough. Lots of really good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The apartment has a lovely balcony with big views and great place to eat and enjoy the Mediterranean. The bathroom is small, small shower, kitchen is fully equipped, bed is very comfortable. If you can handle the stairs, this is a great place.

Beautiful location, wonderful apartment
We had a great time at the apartment. Laura was amazing. She helped with getting us a driver for the day, a car to the airport, navigating the area by bus and last minute dinner reservations. She was absolutely amazing. Super helpful. The apartment has a beautiful view of the coast. The steps to the apartment are no joke but that was clearly advertised.

Amalfi stay
We picked this based on 2 things. The beautiful view from the pictures and the multiple great reviews. We were not disappointed the view was amazing, Laura greeted us when we arrived and was helpful throughout our entire stay. What we read in every single review was the amount of stairs leading up to the apartment. We were very interested to see what everyone was talking about. It was my husband and I’s first time traveling abroad together and we both brought our large suitcases. It is quite a bit of stairs but it was doable, just take it slow and take a couple breaks! The view is very worth it. Laura made us a reservation at the restaurant down the road and it was great, the whole staff was wonderful, food was great and we were treated very well. We also walked up to the market one night to get some food for dinner, just be warned it is A LOT of stairs to get there, we thought it was just up a flight or so but it was many more. However it was nice to have a little market so close for snacks or to cook a little meal on your own. Overall the stay was great and we were pleased.

VETTICA near Amalfi
My wife Carol and I absolutely loved this place. Firstly, Laura, our hostess was invaluable: her recommendations for restaurants including Ciccio’s which is a short walk down the road was amazing in every way possible, check in was easy, communications were clear and timely, plus help with transport arrangements, grocery shopping/ delivery and more. Secondly, the view and the place itself were both as represented and more. The 120 steps up from the road was a challenge for us and the buses to and from were often very crowded. Loved it!!

Amazing views
Maria's place was amazing. The steps were worth the walk up to the house. Conveniently on the SITA line and walking distance to Amalfi when the bus was full this was well worth it and we would stay again. We loved watching the ships at night and the storms over the water.

Summer holiday
What a wonderful stay we had, our first holiday abroad since covid. Maria was very helpfully with her information before we arrived and Laura was brilliant, meeting us when we arrived, giving us lots of information, advise and booking restaurants/taxis for us, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The apartment was perfect for us. It was easy to get around, we used the bus to get to and from Amalfi and from there the ferries take you wherever you want to go A delightful stay, thank you

5 Day Holiday
We had a lovely time staying at this quaint little property managed very efficiently by.Laura who was very helpful and provided us with any information we needed, and promptly..We used the taxi service offered through Laura. Very comfortable clean cars and smart drivers. .The transfer takes approximately 1 hr 30 from Naples. It would’ve cost 130 euros each way however, be warned, even though we provided flight times, your flight arrival isn’t checked, we accidentally informed Laura we would arrive an hour sooner than we did and the taxi firm charged an extra 50 euros. We were welcomed with a bottle of fizz which was a nice touch. The property is well equipped. Air conditioned bedroom which was essential as we had an incredibly hot 5 days! The highlight is definitely the view from the balcony - absolutely stunning! In case it makes a difference to your plans, be aware at the end of June beginning of July the sun has gone from the balcony by 3pm. We enjoy walking so chose to walk into Amalfi a few times, this takes around 35 minutes, a little hairy in some places but there is also a path for a lot of the way. You can also take the bus which stops just at the bottom of the steps. There are just over 100 steps from the road to the property so just be prepared. The local supermarket is about 250 steps above the property but has all the essentials, their mozzarella, fresh pizza and cured meats are delicious! There is also a cafe bar/restaurant open from early morning till late evening within about ten minutes walk from the property, towards Amalfi. We took the ferry from Amalfi to Positano, well worth doing, the cost for 2 adults was 26 euros. On our last evening we enjoyed a no more than 10 minute walk from the property and to the right to a lovely restaurant Baglio Amalfi. The food was delicious and the views from your table are breath taking! A very friendly service too. We had a shared meze board, two main courses, 2 coffees, bottled water and a bottle of wine and it was 140 euros..Overall, a fantastic stay. Would highly recommend.

Thank you for your review If one wants a view of the sea and coastline , then steps are part of the Amalfi experience , we are a vertical community Not sure of the sunset ? we get sun all day n depending on time of year when sun sets , our terrace face south , I think the romantic nights are amazing , stars and moon light the sky, very tranquil and romantic

Beautiful location!
I booked this property based on the reviews, hillside location and the views it boasted and we were not disappointed. This is a lovely quaint home which felt truly authentic and extremely comfortable. The views are literally breathtaking, having a coffee on the balcony in the morning and drinks there in the evening , it is magical. The support from Laura was really helpful as at times the hillside location made getting supplies and reaching Amalfi a little tricky . She greeted us on arrival and gave us lots of advice and ideas of how to fill our time aswell as contact details for companies. She was always on hand to help us with advice with the buses , eating out and made a number of reservations for us to eat at the nearby restaurants. This is a lovely touch to the holiday . I would recommend booking the transfers via Laura as the company used were great , beautiful black Mercedes’ cars and English speaking driver smartly dressed. Again this was a nice touch and good for the price quoted , aswell as they know where the house is located which could be tricky for some. You do need to be pretty fit to come to this beautiful area, there are lots of steep steps to the home and back to the road where the bus stops outside . It was a 25 minute walk for us to Amalfi , but there are no pavements most of the way and crazy traffic that you do get used to . To do this you need comfortable shoes and for us not walkable in the evenings with nicer shoes. The buses do stop outside the property although tickets have to be brought from shops in town or we got some from The Pergola Hotel down the road. The buses are very crowded and sometimes they have no room to allow you on. There is a shop further up from the house, however it was another 300 plus steps up and not for the faint hearted. Each time we went it was closed unfortunately and had to rely on picking things up in Amalfi or getting some water from the local restaurants. Laura booked us for my husbands 50th at Di Ciccios, which is about 5-10 minute walk. It was awesome ! This is an ala carte restaurant, very expensive but amazing food and service, which for a celebration was super. Laura even came to check on us to ensure everything was as planned. This is a lovely place to stay and the views are why it is so special . If you want the hustle and bustle you can get to Amalfi then retire back to the peace and tranquillity of this comfy home. I would highly recommend it !

We had a very nice visit at Maria’s home. The only issues were the meeting of Claudia at check in. I believe there was a bit of a language barrier. Also she was not able to answer the questions we had. BUT we were able to Chat with Laura who is an extremely helpful wonderful person!!! She gave us all the info we were needing. The walk up to the home is not for the faint of heart, but the view - Beautiful! More than 50 steps, more like 120+. But again - you would not get the view without the steps. The home is quaint and just perfect for 2. Such a great time. If you are going To stay here, pack light. Just know you will get your leg days in!! Thank you Maria and Laura! Oh and the Cats were adorable! Ciao!

Awesome visit
This property is just like the pictures. Beautiful and fun. Everything was very clean. We had plenty of towels for the bathroom and kitchen. Even though we ate out mostly, the kitchen is well stocked. Laura is the best! She was able to get us reservations for everything we wanted to do. She was able to reserve us a boat cruise on the coast, dinner and lunch reservations at magnificent restaurants and private drive to a wine tasting! Laura knows everyone and everything about the area. She made our stay wonderful. Maria, we would certainly recommend your home to any couple ready for fun.

Great view
This property has the best view of the Amalfi Coast. You can watch the sunrise from each room and each room has an unobstructed view of the ocean. We watched bottlenosed dolphins play one morning for a couple of hours, jumping high into the air. You don’t even need to leave your bed to see the sea. We left the bedroom doors to the patio open all night and it was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend. Terrible sad I can’t post a pic of the sunrise view.

To start, the accuracy of the listing is perfect. The location is ideal for relaxation, dining, and spending time away from the hustle and bustle. The walk up the stairs is vigorous, and not to be taken lightly. However, this definitely is part of the experience. We opted out of using a porter, and made the journey upstairs without great difficulty. The terrace view was unparalleled, both morning and night. After a journey up a couple hundred more stairs, I was able to procure wine, cheeses, and meats from the local market (Market Marcellino). This made for lovely drinks and snacks on the terrace prior to dinner. Breathtaking. Now, several notes, as mentioned in previous reviews. The route to Amalfi is plagued by a lot of traffic, so plan accordingly. Avoiding the rush hours is huge. The nearby restaurants were delightful, and affordably priced. For the higher end of the cost bracket, there is also Da Ciccio restaurant, a four or five minute walk. We spent three hours there, had 8 courses, wine, limoncello, meloncello, and more! Incredible. Quite possibly the best local host ever, was Laura. She assisted with check in, check out, arranged vehicle transfer, taxi calling, dinner reservations, wine tasting tours, meal recommendations, directions, EVERYTHING. I cannot stress enough that she MADE this experience what it was. I could go on and on, but it's time for you to book, and experience for yourself.

Amazing location!
My wife and I stayed at this property for two weeks. It is quiet, the views are amazing, and there is everything you need to be comfortable. The owner has a manager for the property (Laura) who lives close by and was a big help for setting up things we needed like reservations at restaurants, fairy tickets, laundry service, cooking classes etc. You won’t find a better place to stay if you want to get away and have your own space alone. There are many steps to get to the home so if you can’t navigate stairs this will not be a place for you. We really appreciate how nice the home is and how helpful the owner and Laura were for us on our first trip to the Amalfi Coast!

yes Amalfi is a vertical community , you must use steps , good news ours are few ,,, n no sidewalks .. but worth every step to see and experience , all my best n see you soon in Miami Beach

Perhaps the most beautiful views of anywhere we’ve stayed!
If you are looking for a beautiful getaway...this is the place. For my wife and I, it was the perfect location. It’s about 2 kilometers outside of Amalfi (only 1.2 miles). We would walk into town, and take the bus back to our place, as it was all up hill from Amalfi. The bus stop is literally right by the steps to where we stayed. We felt like this was the best of both worlds. Easy access to Amalfi, but staying at a higher elevation for better views! When we were at home, we spent almost all of our time on the balcony/deck drinking coffee or wine and enjoying the spectacular views! Laura was our concierge, and she was fantastic! She will absolutely make your trip perfect for you. She’s a very hard worker, very knowledgeable, very professional and she will work with you to customize your trip. If I had one suggestion, it would be to ask people staying at this location if they wanted a porter when they first arrive to assist with luggage. The steps getting to the house are quite intimidating when you first arrive with two large suitcases. We did not use a porter, nor would we if it were available, but might be helpful to some people. However, please do not let the stairs sway your decision. You get use to them quickly, and it is 100% well worth the climb when you see your views!

It is a beautiful place to stay, gorgeous views and spacious. A 30 minute walk from the town but beware of the cars! Had an amazing time and would love to stay again.

Amalfi is special place and when you find the right place to stay it makes it that much better ! We met with Laura when we arrived , she took care of everything for us . She is fantastic ! Made reservations for transportation , restaurant reservations and anything else we needed . Apartment was clean and had everything we needed . The view was spectacular , what a great way to enjoy amalfi . The location is right outside amalfi about a 7 minute bus ride or 45 minute walk . The bus in amalfi is ...... special . Usually full and schedule is very unpredictible because of the traffic . I wouldnt recommend driving , you will quickly notice the roads are very small, windy and drivers are nuts! The apartment is close to 2 very good restaurants. Da ciccio which is about 4 minutes away is amazing . 5 star food and service . Must make a reservation . Across the street is al peche, not as fancy but great food . It was nice to be away from the busy hectic Amalfi area. Now heres why I gave 4 and not 5 stars . The stairs . Although amalfi is on a mountain and theres bound to be stairs. Theres about 120 stairs up to the apartment. If you are in good shape , you wont mind . Regardless , carrying suitcases 40+ lbs up those stairs is not fun . If you dont think you can carry your suitcases up 120 stairs . This isnt the place for you . Aside from that , great stay !

Yes Amalfi Coast is a Vertical community, so stairs are our sidewalks.. if you can’t do steps than Amalfi is not for you , even though our home is considered close to main road with only 120 steps Most are well over 300, so you will find on the Amalfi Coast steps and winding roads with no parking ,,,

Laura was fantastic in arranging reservations and excursions and the car service. The entire Almalfi region is breathtaking and I would highly recommend this home for a romantic getaway.

Very nice property, comprising living room, bedroom and bathroom. Reasonably well equipped. Comfortable bed and couch. Laura, the property manager lives close by and was incredibly responsive. Best feature is the balcony, accessible from the main room and the bedroom, overlooks the Amalfi coast and the bay. Every feature is as advertised. We only had one issue, there was no hot water in kitchen. We had to get from bathroom. The property manager was aware of the problem, but they needed 2 days with no renters to fix. Driving is very "interesting" along the Amalfi coast, but parking is horrendous. The property offered paid parking at a restaurant close by and we used it. We did not move the car during our stay. Parking is 150 meters down the road and you have to walk along the main road with no sidewalk. There are 150 steps up to the property. We used a porter service for our luggage going up. The nearest grocery store is another 300 steps up to the next road - small store, but they had enough for us. The property is approximately 2.7km outside of Amalfi. We used public transport (bus stop at the bottom of the steps) and ferry. Buses run at least every hour and sometimes more frequently. They get very full and on a couple of occasions they did not take everyone that wanted to get on the bus.

Yes there are NO sidewalks on the Amalfi Coast , it’s a Vertical community and steps are our sidewalks..as of this season 2018 no parking on street as in past . We in courage all not to drive since parking is expensive if you can find a space... distance are short but due to the hairpin curves every 50 feet it lengthens the time to go a short distance.. in high season buses are full ... thank you for informing on hot water in kitchen and it was adjusted ... all my best

Beautiful Views Wonderful Laura
The views from our terrace was breathtaking. The pictures of apt are exactly how it is, and we truly enjoyed it. But I must say that the best part was Laura who manages the apt. She was there to meet us when we arrived and explained everything to us. Our first night we went out to dinner and took a cab that we flagged down. Laura made reservations for us in Amalfi that were wonderful. But when returning that evening our cab driver could not find our place and was getting angry. Addresses not anywhere (after that night we remembered land marks ) Laura came and found us in cab and got us home. Saved our first night on Amalfi Coast...She was always a text away and recommend so many things for us. We went to a home of some friends of hers and picked grapes and had lunch and wine which was so much fun. She truly made our trip wonderful. I don't know what we would have done without her. The only thing I would disagree with on description is how far the walk is into town (Amalfi) We did it quite a few times. It is a 30 min. walk one way and you have to be very observant since it is a curvy road that is only about 2 small lanes wide and cars speed by. There is only a small walking path on some parts of it. We did take the bus a few times but found them very crowded and you have to really be ready when bus arrives as in Positano since people just rush in front of you. Mostly we took cabs but beware that they are expensive. We went to Revello and back one day and cab was $120.00. From Amalfi to apt. was $25.00. From Positano to apt $70.00. These are not big trips. Our driver from Sorrento to apt in Amalfi was only $115.00. (much longer drive) The apt. had everything we needed included. (coffee, sugar, paper towels. etc.)

Yes we do have amazing views, the walk to Amalfi centers ? You must not of taking the steps that make it a short cut to Amalfi ,,, taxis can be expensive especially if they think they can exaggerate the price ( check first what is a normal fare , before taking cabs , to be sure of correct price ,,,

Beautiful!
We were looking for a place away from the crowds with a view of the gorgeous Amalfi Coast and this is it. The property is very lovely, comfortable and quiet and was perfect for us. We actually enjoyed the stairs for the exercise and it made the whole stay seem more authentic. The towns were very crowded along the coast and we enjoyed the respite from them in this lovely spot. Laura was extremely helpful arranging drivers and reservations for us. The view is so magnificent that words cannot describe it. Make sure you get up early one day to watch the sunrise with your coffee...exquisite! Thank you Maria and Laura!

We had an incredible stay at Maria's place - the apartment is beautifully done up, the location is excellent and the views are superb. Laura could not have made our trip any easier and went out of her way to meet us and help us with recommendations and bookings throughout the week. Could not recommend the place more and was very difficult to leave such an amazing view behind. A wonderful stay.
