We had a wonderful time at this cozy little place. Very quiet, beautiful garden, well-appointed rooms in an idyllic Dutch village. The hosts were super friendly and communicated very well. Would highly recommend this place to a couple visiting the area.

We've stayed in B & Bs all over the world, but this has to be one of the top we've ever visited. The cottage was spotless, the gardens lovely, the location ideal (quaint and peaceful yet very easy access to Amsterdam) and the hosts, Klaas and Marianna, were as good as they come - friendly, responsive, excellent communicators, and just wonderful people. Highly recommend!

Es war eine kleine, aber sehr gepflegte für 2 Personen geeignete Unterkunft. Die außer an Kochmöglichkeit, nichts vermissen ließ. Das liebevolle Frühstück durch die Gastgeber war vielseitig. Auch der Gastgeber Klaas stand mit guten Tipps und Ratschlägen hilfreich zur Seite.

Beautiful B&B

We had the best stay at the B&B in Broek. The village was so charming, a lovely place to come and relax after a day in the city. The property was beautiful and the hosts are very hospitable, happy to help with anything we needed. We would love to come back!

We hebben genoten van ons gastvrij verblijf in Bed in Broek. Het is knus, compleet en luxe. De ligging is uniek en zo rustig met een mooie tuin. We voelden ons meteen thuis.

Lovely accommodations close to bus route. The village and the residents we met were welcoming. Klaas and Marianna are gracious hosts and made our arrival easy through detailed check-in steps and directions. The included breakfast set us off on the right foot as we headed into the city central area. Fully recommend.

We loved our stay in this bed and breakfast! Klaas was always easy to communicate with and Marianna was so kind and welcoming during our stay. She met us at check in to make sure we had everything we needed and she made a delicious breakfast each morning. The village was very easy to get to from Amsterdam and the surrounding villages. We usually took bus 314 or 316. We rented bikes near the bus stop (30 euro cash for two bikes for a day). Broek is beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoyed walking around and Marianna made us dinner reservations the first night we were there. When our uber ride did not work out when leaving, Marianna drove us to the bus stop with our luggage. She went above and beyond! The bed is very comfortable, the garden relaxing and the bathroom is great. My daughter and I agreed that this was the perfect spot to end our vacation.

We spent five months at Bed in Broek in April. Klaas was a great communicator and was attentive to our dietary needs. The studio is cozy and sits in a lovely garden. We had fresh made breakfast each day that was tasty and nutritious. Our hosts were attentive to and accommodated our special dietary needs. The bed and breakfast was more delightful and quaint than what the pictures show. The town of Broek is a clean and quiet oasis just a 15 minute drive from Amsterdam’s Centraal Station. We were able to enjoy quiet nights away from the bustle of the city. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

Charming and Restful

Klaas and Marianne were wonderful hosts. Village was charming. Bus to Amsterdam was reliable and nearb. A great way to spend the last week of our vacation.we'll be back!

Peace outside the hustle of the city

Stayed for a long weekend in this delightful cottage just a short bus ride from the busy hustle of Amsterdam!! The accommodation was spotlessly clean and homely. Lovely comfortable bed and the breakfast is worth the stay alone!! We would definitely recommend if you are looking for a weekend break in the city.

The village is delightful and a wonderful and peaceful antidote to the bustle of Amsterdam. This wonderful retreat is perfect for a couple get away. We loved the setting of the beautiful garden and the charming accommodations. Everything was comfortable, clean and inviting. The hosts were very welcoming, engaging, and responsive. Breakfast each morning was delicious, fresh, and served promptly. The quiet village is postcard picturesque. It was a perfect retreat and an excellent location for our visit to the Netherlands.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about our stay in this B&B in Broek in Waterland. The little cottage was very clean and well- equipped and the King-size bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were huge and delicious. The garden and outdoor sitting area were gorgeous: beautiful spring flowers and so many birds. Our hosts, Marianne and Klaas were very warm and welcoming. They were very helpful in suggesting the best bike and transit routes to explore in Amsterdam and the countryside. Broek in Waterland is such a picturesque village with beautifully restored houses from the 17th and 18th centuries. After a day in busy, noisy Amsterdam, it was heavenly to return to the peace and serenity of this town. We hope we will return one day!
