“I traveled from Japan specifically to visit Annandale Distillery and the Annan Museum, and this hotel was an excellent base for exploring the area. The building has a lot of character and history, but the room and facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. I was unsure how to operate the heater in my room, as this type of heating system is uncommon in Japan, but the staff were always happy to help and made me feel welcome. “For what we paid for a double room, how tiny the room and bathroom were was a surprise and huge disappointment. Restaurant was very noisy and staff not amenable to changing tables”

“I can’t fault the Sure Hotel in Lockerbie. A beautiful building, fantastic en suite room, very clean and modern. Or host, the manager Glen couldn’t have been more helpful. Plenty of free secure parking and we ended up taking a lovely stroll into Lockerbie for dinner. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel, great staff who are so helpful. We’ll definitely be going again. ”
