“I was warmly welcomed to this B&B. It is a beautiful house set in extensive grounds. From my window I had lovely views of the garden and beyond. The room was beautifully decorated and the bedding was soft and comfortable. With the warmth of the welcome and the excellent breakfast I would agree this is an excellent 4* and worthy of its great reviews.”

“We were extremely happy with our stay at The Mill Forge it’s our 4th time staying there and it was absolutely a treat Room was so spacious comfortable and had everything you can expect Beds are very comfortable bathroom very spacious Check In was easy and the staff friendly and make you feel most welcome With it being only a few miles from Gretna it makes it very convenient

Very large car park. Close to the motorway (no noise issues)
Very polite receptionist.

“The Solway Lodge was a welcoming place to stay. Lovely staff, nice food and a very welcome drink after travelling down from Fife. We stopped off on our way back home. The room was huge, recently renovated, comfortable. We were able to move our car right outside our room which was fab. Thank you. We will be returning.”
