“The reception staff was bright and caring and ready to assist with all our needs. The only down side was that there was nothing in our room to tell us where to eat or best places to eat close to the accomodation. Other than that I would stay there again if I needed to be in that area.”

“Great location. Quick, short walk to the mall with supermarkets etc. Apartments had good car parking and room was a good size, with small balcony. Superficially the room was clean and tidy but there were stains on bed, curtains and carpet. The bedside cabinet drawers and door frames were quite unpleasant. Water pressure was just enough. I was visiting friends nearby so the location was great for me and the room was adequate as I really only needed somewhere to sleep, otherwise I wouldn't...

“Very central but would ask for park side apartment as it would be quieter. Staff were friendly and the facilities good. Would stay again when visiting Ipswich.”

“Very welcoming. Felt like staying at a friend or family members home. Very polite and respectful staff. Close walk to village for any supplies needed, and plenty of restaurant choices. Love the out door veranda and comfortable lounge deck chair. Plenty of space so not to feel on top of each other. Comfortable bedding and very nicely decorated. I will stay again when I’m in Ashgrove.”

“We travelled interstate by car and found parking at the hotel easy, convenient and well-priced, although a little snug for our large vehicle! Check in was quick and simple and we were quickly settled in our clean, well-appointed room overlooking the park - a lovely outlook. The buffet breakfast featured an impressive range of dishes and the quality was fantastic. The hotel was conveniently located for our one-night stay, within walking distance West End and the South Bank ferry stop to explore...
