Get back to nature with 170 acres of magical forest & ferns at Tall Trees Eco Retreat, just 11km from Apollo Bay.

Wake to birdsong, explore our walking trails, spot wildlife, and unwind under a starry sky while discovering the beauty of glow worms in glow worm ally.

Fresh crisp air, frog symphonies and river sounds, along with limited internet and no phone signal, will help you disconnect. Perfect for relaxing, reconnecting, and exploring the Otways and Great Ocean Road.

Enjoy the entire Manna Gum Cottage and all it has to offer for the duration of your stay.

With 2 beautiful queen bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, living room with books, games, DVDs, large bathroom with spa and separate shower you’ll never want to leave your home away from home!

Unwind on the extra-large and super comfy lounge with a book, cuddle up and chat or make use of the cards, games or selection of DVDs – or just Zen out to the views and sounds of nature.

Whether you BBQ on the balcony or cook your meals in the full size kitchen be sure to relax in the spa after a day of exploring the property, nearby attractions or hitting Apollo beach.

Manna Gum is one or four cottages located at Tall Trees Eco Retreat.

The property is 170 acres of forest, fern gullies and partially cleared grazing land. We have several walking tracks and glow worms that can be seen at night.

We are happy for guests to access any of the tracks on the property by foot only. No vehicle access allowed on walking trails.

If visiting in winter be prepared with waterproof shoes.

We offer a self-check in service and will send this information prior to your arrival via email.

We leave you to your own devices to enjoy the natural surrounds and your downtime, however should you need anything you can pop past the old farmhouse/send us a message and we will assist as best we can.

A picturesque drive along the Barham River Road will bring you to Tall Trees Eco Retreat. The Barham River runs alongside the road, paddocks are dotted with sheep and ducks and you might spot the occassional donkey.
Once on the property you will be taken away with the call of the birds and the smell of the rain forest.
