“We have just returned from a brilliant couple of weeks at La Roche. The house and setting is lovely and so peaceful. We loved sitting in the garden or by the pool and listening to the birds. The house itself sleeps 8 and upstairs is a/c which was a relief from the 34 degree heat. Pool was clean and large enough for all the kids to play. Nearby to Bergerac with lots of easily reached day trips. Would definitely return. ”

“We hadden een zeer fijne tijd in het huis. We hadden alles wat we nodig hadden, zelfs een droogkast en een oven. De gastvrouw was zeer reactief en behulpzaam. Een probleem of vraag wordt snel opgelost. Het was ook heel fijn dat elke slaapkamer een eigen badkamer heeft. Al is een deur voor de slaapkamer boven een aanrader. Bij zeer warme dagen is de airco boven net niet voldoende, maar de vensters boven openen tijdens de nacht doet ook veel deugd en kan de temperatuur onder controle houden. Het...

“Kim and Graham were fantastic hosts they couldn’t have been kinder! The gite was a lovely rustic farmhouse, beautifully clean and well equipped wine in the fridge and cute bedrooms. There were even friendly pigs and a couple of cats to welcome us! Id definitely come back ”

The pool was a great way to cool down each afternoon. The rooms are spacious with all the basics provided. We were also welcomed with a box of goodies and milk in the fridge. “We booked Rigal for a week and ended up staying for a month! This is a beautiful property, a comfortable home, and a lovely corner of France. But the real charm of Rigal is in its very warm vibe, thanks to hosts Chris and Jacky, and to the myriad animals on the property that add an unexpected dimension to a stay there.
