“Extremely poor communication ”

“Room was average for the price paid but overall looked tired. Very old pub and traditional rooms but that’s no reason to ignore mould and damage to the bathroom and paint flaking off the walls. Light fitting was hanging off by exposed wires. In the evenings the pub downstairs is busy with a lot of noise heard upstairs until about midnight. ”

“Room was basic but functional. It lived up to my expectations. Ideal for an overnight stay. Shower was warm and practical.”

“Everything was perfect! The staff are all lovely and helpful. The room was spotless and very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. We will definitely go there again.”

“Staff were very friendly and efficient, the hotel is very clean and well looked after, the rooms are spacious and well kept, great location, only a few minutes walk into the centre and 5 minutes from the Lake.”

“Not very easy to park due to short street ”

“Amazing cooked to order breakfasts! Loads of choices. Warm and friendly welcome from Rich and Ada. They gave great suggestions on places to visit. Room was comfortable with everything you needed for a short break in a convenient location to explore that part of the Lake District. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The free access to the local spa was a lovely bonus after all the walking! Would highly recommend and would gladly visit again.”
