Hotel vicino a Hawkshead Grammar School - Ambleside

“Room was average for the price paid but overall looked tired. Very old pub and traditional rooms but that’s no reason to ignore mould and damage to the bathroom and paint flaking off the walls. Light fitting was hanging off by exposed wires. In the evenings the pub downstairs is busy with a lot of noise heard upstairs until about midnight. ”

“Extremely poor communication ”

“Room was basic but functional. It lived up to my expectations. Ideal for an overnight stay. Shower was warm and practical.”

“Staff were so helpful and polite. Stunning views of Lake Windermere. Excellent Food at the restaurant and breakfast was amazing with so much choice. Room was great with no outside noise to be heard so had a great nights sleep. Highly recommended .”

“Not very easy to park due to short street ”

“Amazing cooked to order breakfasts! Loads of choices. Warm and friendly welcome from Rich and Ada. They gave great suggestions on places to visit. Room was comfortable with everything you needed for a short break in a convenient location to explore that part of the Lake District. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The free access to the local spa was a lovely bonus after all the walking! Would highly recommend and would gladly visit again.”
