“A beautiful stay, with exquisite bed sheets and thoughtful home design. But . . . thin walls. My neighbors were partying at 4 am! A quiet time, or an enforced quiet time, would have helped.”

“Exceptionally clean. Nice amenities. Comfortable bed. Walking distance to Simmons Arena. Several good restaurants within 2 blocks. The only reason not a 5 star rating is noise from outside (price you pay for convenience!) did not cease until after 1pm (and this was a Wed). ”

“My husband and I had a quick overnight getaway. This was the perfect place. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was perfect and the bed was so comfortable. We will be back.”

“The room and bathroom were clean. The shower was hot. They upgraded us to a city view room and the staff is extremely friendly! The pool is heated but not really, so, it was cold. They also only have valet parking which is another $30. The location is also good for downtown. ”

“We were very happy with everything except the sofa in the room, which was significantly broken down in the middle, so broken down that when sitting on it, it caused you to lean to the center. ”

“Staff was helpful, breakfast was fine. Scrambled eggs were actually pretty good! Hotel was being renovated so some areas had evidence of work in progress (elevators needed sweeping, etc) and our newly renovated room had no curtains (but did have a light blocking shade) no carpet, no pictures on the wall, very sterile looking. And oddly there were a few ants on our night tables. I suspect some of these issues are temporary. FYI Outside in the back of the hotel there was an attractive pool area.”

“No longer served breakfast!!!!! We stayed here about 4 years ago when under different management and were given a full tour of this beautiful, historic home, and had the most delicious breakfast in one of the reception rooms, a table for two. So romantic! Well, new management has stopped serving breakfast and there’s none of the feel of enjoying the reception rooms to sit and read or talk or take in the atmosphere of the olden days. I’m sorry to say it’s now just an expensive hotel with nice...

“Standard room for the price range. No frills but no major complaints either. For a free breakfast, I find it difficult to nitpick. The selection was diverse enough to allow most people to find a thing or two to enjoy. The single serve pancake machine was cool. I had never seen one before. Beds were comfy and clean. The shower / bathroom could use updating. If you're not staying in the hotel as your vacation, this place is perfect. It's in the middle of everything. You can't go a block without...

“Only thing that was bothersome was the attitude of desk clerk on check in - she couldn’t be bothered when I asked about getting a different room - curt short answer just not possible - I asked about room on first floor - my wife has mo bility issues - we ended up on 2nd floor but at end of hallway which was a distance ”
