Hotel vicino a Arlington Marina - Jacksonville

“While my room was initially clean, housekeeping did not come for 2 days; needless to say garbage piled up. We had to leave early due to an untimely death in the family; because I made the reservation through Expedia, Marriott would not refund any money. I will have to rethink reserving a room at Marriott in the future.”

“Upon checking in, we found the hotel undergoing a co.plete renovation. Most of the main lobby closed off and the bar moved to the restaurant. The elevators were also being renovated and taken out of service 1 or 2 at a time out of the 3. I would have expected Expedia to have some type of construction notice when booking. I always stay at the Southbank when in Jacksonville, but this had to be the most disappointing visit EVER!!! Call the hotel beforehand to confirm status of renovation to avoid...

“I had a decent stay, the hotel was clean but completely empty. Most of the lights were off in the lobby at night. The morning breakfast was nice as it included yogurt and various cereals as well as some eggs. The room and bathroom were clean. Overall good stay!”

“Room 163: the door does not lock. The toilet paper holder is dangling from the wall, which has small divots dug out of it. There is a bit of discoloration around the tub. The staff willingly gave us another room. Inside door latches/chains have been removed and painted over. The room interiors are dimly lit, with walls painted battleship gray except where they've been scarred or patched. Cleanliness is fine. The interior courtyard rooms are surprisingly quiet. Air conditioning works and is not...

“All things considered this was a great stay. However the property is undergoing renovations therefore a lot of construction. The pool is under construction and not available but there was a contingency plan available with use of the pool on the property next door. The water was down when we arrived but our room wasn’t ready anyway so we went out for lunch, by the time we got back water was restored. It went out again the next day for several hours due to construction but in the middle of the day...

“The staff was nice and the breakfast was good. Great location but the faucet to the sink was in a very weird spot water kept getting everywhere. Besides that it was ok”

“Pros: Check in was a breeze and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful Room was well stocked with everything you would need Room was clean and bed was very comfy Cons: Bathroom sink did not drain properly. It was backed up and hair came back up the drain that belonged to previous occupant. We had to brush our teeth and wash hands in the kitchen sink. All the towels had a lot of lint which stuck to our skin and pajamas”

“It's like a TEMU Wyndham .. has the name but is like a cheap knock-off that just doesn't fit right The check-in was rude. I showed up 10 min before check-in and was informed that she normally would charge me $30 for early check-in, but this time she would let it slide. Then proceeded to lecture me the whole check-in about how hotels only do check-ins between 3-4pm. I finally replied that was why I was there only 10 min early. Then got to room and it smelled like "fart", I assume mildew....
