“My family and I stayed at the cabin for 4 days during my daughter's winter break. It had everything we needed to manage the little ones, cook, relax, and have fun. There are many forest roads about 100 yards away for a morning hike. The local grocery was very close and convenient. The space is nice for a family with little ones. There was a creek running behind the cabin that the kids enjoyed walking down and there was a private lake with a playground that we got to explore.”

“House was quiet and clean. Pillows were pretty flat but overall the house Worked well for a family of 4. Driveway was a bit of doozy- you have to back out uphill at an angle. But great location by Big Trees Park and nice to eat on the patio after a long day. Laundry facilities and a family room ”

“It's a quiet cabin in the forest. You can see the green trees all around you. Cabin has many windows so it feels airy, and every window gives you a view of the trees at different angles, and that's exactly what we were looking for. It's a quiet neighborhood, with the sounds (and occasional visit through the property) of turkeys. For us living in Bay Area, this nature retreat was a beautiful getaway.”

“We had a great time staying in a nice (and very clean) home, with good separation for the two families involved, and great amenities (hot tub, dog run, etc). We enjoyed the views of the forest from the multiple decks, bbq-ing, and relaxing after hitting some AMAZING golf courses in the area!”

“Winterfell is a gem! The host is kind and thoughtful. The room feels like a home away from home tucked in the woods. In hindsight we would have packed a picnic to sit at the table under the trees. Very comfortable and wonderful ✨”

“Came here for three days. Spent zero time reviewing emails. Feels like a million miles away from civilization, even though everything you could need is literally five minutes away. Very good restaurants are in the adjacent shopping center. Drive up the hill to see incredible scenery. Beautiful trees. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an escape from work. Host is very responsive.”

“This cottage, cabin was exactly what we wanted for our group snow trip cozy and comfy. Everybody had their own bed and the kids big and small had their own gaming/ hangout area up stairs. We enjoyed everything about this place we even hosted dinner one night at our house and we all fit with plenty of room . We will definitely book this place for next years trip if it is available.”

“The house and location were absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of room for six adults to sleep and hang out. The house was clean and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the deck! Even during a freak snowstorm in May, we still had a blast hanging out in the jacuzzi. Trails are nearby too. We enjoy hiking, and despite the rain (which eventually turned to snow), we ventured up to the top of the World Trail. It's an easy hike and close by. After returning to the house, we fired up the BBQ...

“We chose to take a much needed break and started to scroll through all the properties from various sites. When we see this one it was immediately clear we found “The One”. When we arrived we were both impressed that it was exactly like it was represented in the photos. The cabin was clean and very cozy, the kittens well stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. Our favorite parts were the hot tub and the entertainment room that was so comfortable. We will definitely stay again and...

“We had a great weekend at this lovely home. We loved the alternative to the “carved bear” Sierra experience. It’s close to restaurants and a great outdoor rec center. Highly recommended! We’ll likely be back.”

“Worth the Waite was a great place to getaway and have a family vacation. We have no complaints, other than the HOA facilities were so expensive to use we opted not to use them. The swamp cooler was really nice and cooled off the house quickly after we had been away on activities. The pool table in the basement playroom was a nice surprise. There were lots of games for the kids to play too!”

“My two kids and dog stayed in this cabin for two nights. It was easy to find and located very close to local snow activity areas. The cabin was quite spacious, we only needed one floor, but it could easily accommodate more people. The kitchen had all the necessary basics. There was a nice hill on the side for sledding and the heating system worked well. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen table. Host was quick to reply to a message I sent.”

“We had a great time with my family of four and our two small dogs. There was plenty of room and it was a great location. The pilot light was out in the fireplace, but that was fixed within an hour, thank you very much. There was also no sponge to wash dishes, but that was fixed quickly as well. Plenty of room in the cabin to relax and play. Close to snow. We loved that the back deck was fenced for our dogs. Overall we were very happy and would go back.”
