Situated in Kerameikos area, Villa Amaryllis is superbly designed and built to the finest specifications, with emphasis on space and comfort. Featuring a total of 5 bedrooms, it successfully matches a fabulous architectural design with lavish contemporary comforts. Ideal for those who want to make the most of Athens, this property is right next to Gazi area, and only a 10min walk from the centre of Athens and its most prominent sights. Guests will be able to savour the citys most famous restaurants and nightlife whilst being privately withdrawn to the Villas warm and inviting indoor living areas.

Description
Villa Amaryllis is a 350 sq. m. structure fusing modern influences with traditional features and can accommodate up to 10 guests. The interior pays respect to functional and elegant living while being in line with the latest technology and modern comfort. The Villas airy design combines light and bright colours with rectangular volumes and wooden floors to create an imitable heart-warming effect. Its living spaces are voluminous and tailored with large window openings, filling the interiors with natural light. Villa Amaryllis is characterised by meticulous design, including hand-crafted decor, prime materials, and state-of-the-art technology. Since this house was designed to please large groups, a fully-equipped kitchen takes a prominent place on the ground floor, and it is connected with the red-coloured living room, the matching dining area, and the yard. The outdoor areas and the garden are shaded by the local flora and tall trees and feature an extra wooden dining table, a couch swing as well as sunbeds. The rooms are capacious, highly aestheticized and at the same time unpretentiously sophisticated.
The bedrooms are warm and colourful, creating a cosy ambiance with fluffy beds, beautiful carpets, and cushions calling for a relaxing rest. Some feature big patios, others en-suite bathrooms and all of them wide windows. They spread throughout 3 floors, so this Villa can gracefully entertain a large group of friends or an extended family, while, even with a "full house" one can find his private corner.
Villa Amaryllis offers a warm yet luxurious living ambiance right in the centre of Athens and makes the ideal retreat for families and groups of friends, allowing both adults and minors to enjoy precious time with their peers and with each other.

Wonderful place to stay

It is an amazing property and fit our needs well. My only complaint was the watering of the outdoor plants. The water pooled on the stairs in the entryway and made it slippery and I did slip and take a nasty fall. However, that aside, the property is exactly as advertised and very comfortable with a wonderful restaurant around the corner. I do recommend it, just watch your step.

Three Nights in September 2023

We were a group of 8, coming from different locations to spend 3 nights at the apartment before a cruise. The apartment was spacious and comfortable although a bit vertical, having multiple levels. The elevator came in handy. Alexandra and Nandia were very responsive to all of my questions and arranged for transportation from the airport to the apartment and the apartment to the cruise terminal. That was very helpful. The apartment was about a 10 minute walk to 2 nearby subway stations providing easy access to the places we wanted to see in Athens. Overall it was a very good experience.

Location, location, spacious!

Being able to walk to so many interesting sights, and having a grocery and fabulous affordable restaurants nearby added so much to the already benefit of staying in a spacious and clean villa. And the managers were instantly responsive with answers to any question I asked about the villa or surrounds. We were a party of seven adults. I'd recommend this to anyone. Great place!

Surprisingly spacious apartment

Our group of seven people (three elderly, two adults and two kids) fully enjoyed our stay. The elevator inside the apartment is really convenient. Alexandra was extremely responsive and we used the transportation service four times. Excellent restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend.

Athens Adventure

The property was very nice, clean and secure. The elevator was a very nice feature. The neighborhood was not in the best area, but there were good restaurants and bakery close by. The property is best accessed by foot as it was hard to get close with a vehicle. The host had excellent recommendations and was extremely accommodating.

Fabulous stay in a fabulous area

The place is massive and amazing. It was really clean, in a quiet area and close to shops. The host is very helpful and has great communication. The roof top deck and elevator were a huge hit. The restaurants in the neighbourhood are some of the best we experienced during our stay in Athens. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great Experience

The property is exactly as advertised. Spacious and well maintained. A few things could use a little updating, but those are minor. The host and representative were helpful and responsive. We had access to all 4 floors. The special surprise was a working elevator in the center of the property which was really useful to our senior member as we moved through the property. Shopping and restaurants are just paces from the front door. Great choice and experience. Highly recommended.

Spacious and convenient urban base for family of 5

Fantastic communication throughout the whole process, and the shuttle from the airport was super helpful. We were met in the house by Penny who shared great information about local places to eat. Very spacious for our family of 5, including two teens and a 9 year old. The walk to the Acropolis is about 30 min, a bit further to the Plaka, but also very close (17 min) to the Larissa train station which we took to Meteora. And the market/store is super close! The restaurant outside provided a jovial (though late) atmosphere and had great/interesting food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Air conditioning, WiFi, hot water were excellent and elevator was great. Back courtyard was not really useable as I’d hoped, but top roof and front patio had seating.

Gorgeous, spacious fortress, walking distance to the Acropolis

This incredible property is absolutely stunning, with more space than you can imagine at a very reasonable price. Kitchen and living spaces are beautifully appointed, huge windows for substantial light, and patio and rooftop deck. In-house elevator was a nice surprise!

Large, multi-floor villa in central Athens

Property is well built, and although showing a few signs of age, it was everything we hoped it would be as our 2 families of 5 (10 people in total) had plenty of space to spread out and relax. Kitchen was decently appointed, and there were several living areas and a large dining table around which we gathered for meals.

My family and I (9 adults) spent 2 nights at this beautiful property! It was great! There was plenty of room for all of us. The bedrooms were all comfortable and the hosts made the stay even more incredible! Nandia and Alexandra are so friendly. They treated us like family. They arranged for transfers for us from the airport to the property and then from the property to the port where got on the ferry for the rest of our trip. Their communication with us was always very prompt and all of their recommendations for restaurants and shops were right on the money!! Awesome experience!!

Great Location, Sparkling Clean Perfect Apartment

This apartment was very large and open. The location was quiet and within walking distance to the Acropolis and the Agora (about 30 min walk). It is about a min drive to the airport. We made reservations and ate at the restaurant just outside the apartment. The food and drinks were high-end and delicious. The apartment covers several floors. It has stairs and an elevator which came in handy with our luggage. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was well appreciated after a long day in the heat. There is a market about 5 min walk away for snacks, wine, etc. I would highly recommend the apartment!

Wonderful Stay

This property was the perfect place to land in Athens. We were 6 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house was beautiful , just like the pictures. All of the amenities were as promised. The host was agreeable and available and easy to communicate with. We loved out time here and would definitely return!

Beautiful property in the heart of Keramikos

Anna, a lovely host, arranged for her driver to pick us up at the airport, who took us directly to the house. The house was as beautiful as the photos, super clean with fresh sheets and towels. A spread of local cheeses and Raki was served while she informed us of the house and local area. After our two night stay, we were driven to the port. I would highly recommend!

Great house

Great house that is about 25 minute walk from Plaka/Acropolis. House is beautiful and large. It was great for two families and never felt crowded. Highly recommended. Very pleased with this house. You can stay in Plaka and pay much more for 1/6th of the space. Hope to return.

Welcome respite from the tumult of being a tourist in Athens

We didn't feel like tourists when we stayed at Villa Amaryllis - we felt like we were retreating to our fortress to recharge. The neighborhood was off-putting at first with a lot of graffiti and few other tourists that we saw. Most of our group quickly settled in and appreciated the local vibe; we never felt unsafe or threatened. The villa itself is well secured with multiple deadbolts on the villa door and tall outer gate. The shared areas are spacious - a little echo-y - with comfortable couches and interesting appointments without being cluttered. The rooms are sizeable and pleasant, well-spaced throughout the villa so we never felt cramped. The villa affords many spaces like balconies and the second/first level to be alone when needed - so hard to find sometimes when traveling with a large group. The roof top deck and sitting area are quietly peaceful and allow a sense of being part of the real Athens. We used kitchen often which was large - allowed for many cooks - and well-appointed for the most part (a food processor! could use a few more chef knives). There are several Michelin-starred restaurants within easy walking distance. Our host Christiana was exceptionally helpful. She gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and made sure that we had all the information we needed about Athens and the villa. She also readily answered several questions via text throughout our trip. We accidentally left a personal item at the villa and she has gone above and beyond to help us get it back. Thank you! We will definitely re-book when we return to Athens with a large group.

Loved the decor and the elevator.

The villa was simply amazing!! At first we were a bit concerned - because we were not expecting a building covered in graffiti. However, the inside made up for it. And as we explored the neighborhood we were very happy with the local cuisine and spirits The villa was absolutely beautiful and each room was designed with extra special touches. The elevator was a real surprise and a huge help. Our many thanks to Arestea and Sprio, our host and driver for all the accommodations and assistance.
