We loved the apartment and the staff. Easy walk to the Viaduct area. Lots of roadworks going on out front and in the vicinity but you can still park at the front door to unload. Only one issue: parking is confusing as next door and a Wilson’s car park. There are two side by side and directions by reception staff were unclear. It took us an hour and $21 to get out of wrong Campari and into right one. Duty manager paid our parking so it was resolved. The car park we park in has no signage on the road

We not only received any upgrade initially, but placed in a handicap room. Too late and tired to move but the second night we were moved to an upgraded room after complaining. Hotel claims the room was assigned by a program. Also the AC unit remote control cover is removable to change the mode. No phone in the room to call reception. The receptionist was clueless but lucky to catch the maintenance man before leaving. Property is over rated in my opinion.

Great location - staff were professional and assisted with holding our bags prior to checkin, parking that was close by and allowing the beds to be made into singles to accomodate our large group of travelling ladies.

The location is very convenient. But the erea is under construction, so it was noisy and difficult to walk.Our room's lock and hair dryer were broken and the light bulb above the table was dead. There was no "Don't disturb"sign plate to put on the door, so I had to ask the reception about it. But the house keeping went into our room the next day actually. There was no screen for the window in the bathroom. People could see the shower booth through the window.The reception staff were inhospipable.

This was advertised as as a 4 star accommodation. The carpets and furniture was filthy. There were many small maintenance issues ( sliding door did not lock, room door safety latch broken, bathroom sink would not drain,etc). The hotel was in a great location, and has the potential to be a 4 star. It is in great need of a renovation. The front reception staff were kind.

Great location and spacious room, but we booked it for the kitchen: the markings on the oven had worn off so we couldn’t tell what the three dials did let alone set a temperature; the cupboards were so poorly installed that the dishwasher door wouldn’t close so it was unusable too (and, eg, the dish cupboard had to be closed to open the cutlery drawer). And we got three emails about the deposit but no warning that they like to photocopy passports—the only NZ hotel of four we stayed in that asked for that. And one morning someone above us threw a chair off their balcony—it landed on the roof of a building just below ours. Overall, kind of seedy and definitely rundown.

Overbooked..
When we arrived we were told they were overbooked and our rooms were not available. It was resolved but that is not the welcome we were hoping for. The rooms we were given had lovely views but were not in great condition. In one room the safe was badly damaged and not usable and in the other the bathroom floor was damaged.

Downtown Auckland is awesome. The property is close to the Sky Tower. There is a lot of construction currently so parking was interesting, but the hotel sent clear instructions on how to park. The room was clean. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location, convenient with kitchen, but poor
Very convenient location. Front desk personnel very helpful. Maid service spotty. Sometimes bed made, sometimes not. No dish detergent left two or three days. Sink in kitchen was stopped up and despite reporting that to desk twice, it was never fixed. Only dishes for two, so would need to wash after every meal. All in all an ok stay.

Parking is a huge mess at this property. They don’t have their own parking so they have rented next door garage. It is $40 every time you park and take out. Which is ridiculous. After talking to victor, our fee was waived. We were ‘upgraded’ to VIP executive room which itself is a huge joke. Place was filthy and carpet was filthy and torn and all black from the dirt. Only reason we stayed there rather than walking out was 1. Their staff was helpful 2. Location was closer to shops and dining, but it felt VERY unsafe at night. Even hotel had security guard since it gets unsafe at nighttime. This was one of the worst hotel we ever stayed at.

Safety is an on going issue and that is main reason we have kept security at our hotel, being centrally located. In regards to parking we have recently implemented multiple entry/exit tickets for the convenience of our guests which can be collected at the reception. The carpet will be fixed as early as we can. Good location with very kind staff. Accessible to shopping, restaurants, and transit. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Bad condition
When we arrived the hotel was overbooked and couldn’t accommodate our 2b/2ba booking so they moved us into two separate 1b suites. They accidentally charged me an additional $500 which is yet to be refunded when changing the reservation to two rooms. We then couldn’t get into one of the rooms because the door key didn’t work. The hotel staff moved us to an alternate room where both the AC and phone did not work so we were relocated yet again to a different room. The following day the elevator broke while we were on it and we were stuck in it. The hotel didn’t have much remorse or apology for the situation or the fact we didn’t have a working phone to notify them. Then for the remainder of the trip elevators went in and out of service and we found ourselves hiking 24 flights of stairs.

Enjoyed our stay
Great location for Skytower, shopping, and water front area. Staff were friendly and room was perfect for a family. Main bedroom had an ensuite which was great. Main bathroom was equipped with washer dryer and there was a dishwasher in kitchen. Hotel advised us of the roadworks outside the hotel in advance. Would consider staying again but only once the roadworks are complete.

Centrally located but in a really seedy area. It was not pleasant to be greeted with the smell of urine as soon as we stepped outside. The place desperately needs a handyman! Everything in the apartment seemed to be wobbly , needing to be screwed or fixed .! Customer service in need of training! Although we paid for 5 people ,it was set up for 4. No extra mug, plate, towel, bedding , etc...when I asked about it I received a shrug and was told that was not how they worked! Eventually was handed a pilow and a duvet with no cover !Room safe was broken and when I asked to change to a room with a working safe I was told most aparments had broken safes...Car park was not on site but in a public , dirty and smelly car park . Although only a short walk if it had been raining it would have been a mess. An unpleasant stay. We will certainly not stay again.

Convenient stay
Apt was nice and clean and had everything needed. Washer dryer was handy. Didn’t love the bathroom which was a big wet room with no vanity but it was clean. One of the windows in my apt was locked open so you couldn’t shut out the construction noise and shouting from the street. Apparently a fire safety requirement
