- 244 Beach Road - Campbells Bay, Auckland
Set behind private gates in one of Auckland's quietest coastal pockets, 244 Beach Road is a designer North Shore home built for slow mornings and long evenings outdoors. The beach is at the end of the street, Takapuna is ten minutes south, and everything in between has been thought about.
THE HOUSE
3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeping 6 - 8 guests in comfort.
Open-plan living flows out to the pool and terrace, anchored by a gas fireplace for cooler evenings. A second lounge gives everyone somewhere to spread out. Lighting runs on a Control4 system with preset scenes, one button on arrival and the house comes to life. Underfloor heating and heated towel rails warm both bathrooms, heat pumps look after the master and media room, and Sonos plays through four separate zones. Smart TVs in the lounge and master with Netflix, Disney+ and Prime, ready for your own logins.
OUTSIDE
The outdoors is really why you come.
A swimming pool with fountain sits at the heart of the property, alongside a fully equipped outdoor kitchen - gas BBQ, side burner, sink with hot and cold water, and a drinks fridge, so long lunches never move indoors.
Tucked away behind the BBQ is the outdoor bath: robes, candles, bath salts and softly dimmable wall lighting. It is the detail guests remember here.
THE LOCATION
El Greco - one of Auckland's best Mediterranean restaurants, literally across the road
Campbells Bay Beach - a sheltered sandy bay with a grassy reserve at the end of the street, perfect for a swim or a sunset walk over the Hauraki Gulf
Mairangi Bay Village - supermarket, cafes and shops, a short stroll north along the coast, 5 minutes drive
Milford & Takapuna - larger supermarkets, boutique shopping and beaches, five to ten minutes south
Auckland CBD - roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak traffic
GOOD TO KNOW
Check-in 3:00pm, check-out 11:00am. Off-street parking in front of the double garage. Gate and door codes are sent ahead of your stay, so arrival is seamless whatever time you land.
244 Beach Road sits in a quiet residential neighbourhood with neighbours close by. We ask guests to keep noise considerate after 10pm, particularly around the pool and BBQ.
