  • This beautiful cabin with its simple luxury, is the perfect bush retreat for everyone seeking a relaxing getaway and perfect as a base to explore the the local Waitākere Ranges forest walks and beaches.

    A plush loft Queen bed is described as 'dreamy' and 'cosy' - and especially important - comfy!

    Step out into the garden under the tree canopy and soak under the stars - or greet the sun in the large outdoor bath. Toast some marshmallows under the moon. Sweet peas and wildflowers in summer, native plants all year round, birdsong from dawn til dusk, relax & enjoy!

A beautiful place for a romantic getaway. Wonderful surrounds and a stunning garden outlook. Sleeping and bathing under the stars is an added treat. Well appointed accomodation that was lovingly set up.

Loved the whole place perfect for a nice little getaway. Beautifully presented clean and tidy would definitely recommend. Nice little beach just down the road. I wish I had of booked two nights.

What a magical stay at an amazing cabin. Well fitted out with everything you will need. We loved all the little details the host has provided to make the stay so much more special. We enjoyed the outdoor bath and sitting around the open fire with a drink. A well worth while stay and recommend to everyone. Well done!

An amazing get away while still being in Auckland. Rachel is a wonderful host, and the bach itself is cozy, comfortable and well worth the drive. It feels like you're a world away from civilization, but a 10-minute drive gets you into the local town. Close to walks and beaches, it is a great spot to do a whole lotta nothing. Easy instructions to get to the bach and for the house itself, and a nice set up so you can sit and watch the trees. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a getaway !

Enjoyable stay! Beautiful whare and space/land. Watching the mist roll over the mountains in the morning was divine. Could see it would be amazing in summer.The compostable toilet was our only issue. Struggled with that a bit :)Rachel was very kind to let us have a late checkout as well. We will be back or have whanau check it out when they visit us.Thank you so much.

Nice, clean space to have time out. Great birdlife. Close to beaches and lookouts. Nice touch with flowers etc.
