Featuring a comfortable sofa, large windows, a cosy fireplace for warm, homely charm, and a Smart TV, this is the perfect space to relax and unwind.



Kitchen:

Featuring elegant cabinetry, stone-look benchtops, and a statement range cooker, this designer space is as stylish as it is functional. Complete with an oven, fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, and a charming breakfast island, it offers everything you need for effortless everyday living and entertaining.



Dining Area:

Bedrooms

The home features three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each designed for comfort and relaxation. All beds are dressed in premium linens, quality pillows, and fresh, clean blankets to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Large windows fill each room with natural light, creating a bright and airy feel throughout. The master bedroom includes a Smart TV, while two of the bedrooms also offer dedicated workspaces, ideal for guests combining comfort with convenience.



Bathrooms

The home features three beautifully appointed bathrooms, thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. Each bathroom includes a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. Clean, spacious, and well maintained, all bathrooms also feature showers and complimentary toiletries for your stay. For added ease, a washer and dryer are available, making extended stays even more comfortable and hassle-free.

Please Note: There is an occupant living in a fully self-contained dwelling beneath the main house. They have their own private entrance and separate living space. While the front gate is shared, the home you have booked is entirely private, allowing you to enjoy your stay with comfort and privacy.

Waitoa Street is tucked into one of Auckland’s most charming and character-filled neighbourhoods , Parnell, Auckland’s oldest suburb.

Known for its heritage charm, leafy streets, boutique cafés, galleries, and village atmosphere, Parnell offers a more peaceful and elegant stay while still being just minutes from the energy of Auckland CBD.



1. Auckland War Memorial Museum

A must-visit for first-time visitors, with incredible Māori and Pacific collections, natural history exhibits, and one of the best hilltop views in Auckland. It’s set in the Auckland Domain and is one of the city’s standout cultural attractions. Open daily, generally 10am–5pm, with late opening on Tuesdays until 8:30pm.



2. Auckland Domain

Auckland’s oldest and one of its largest parks, perfect for walks, picnics, morning jogs, and city views. It’s right on Parnell’s doorstep and ideal for guests wanting green space close to the CBD. Parnell’s official visitor guide highlights the Domain as one of the suburb’s major outdoor drawcards.



3. Wintergardens (within Auckland Domain)

A beautiful hidden gem featuring historic glasshouses, tropical and temperate plant displays, and lovely formal gardens. Great for a peaceful stroll and photos.



4. Parnell Rose Gardens (Dove-Myer Robinson Park)

One of the prettiest places in the area, especially in spring and early summer. The gardens are famous for their roses, harbour outlooks, and beautiful walking paths toward Judges Bay. The park is known for having over 5,000 roses.



5. Parnell Village / Parnell Road

Stroll Parnell Road for boutique shopping, art galleries, cafés, brunch spots, wine bars, and heritage architecture. This is the heart of Parnell’s village feel and a lovely area for a slow afternoon. Parnell is particularly known for its boutique shopping and dining scene.

A peaceful and architecturally striking landmark in Parnell, with beautiful grounds, art, and a reflective atmosphere. It’s free to visit and generally open:

A stylish waterfront precinct packed with restaurants, bars, designer shops, and transport connections. It’s one of the best places for dining, shopping, and connecting to ferries, trains, and the wider city.



8. Commercial Bay & Auckland Waterfront

Great for shopping, dining, and harbour views. From Britomart, guests can easily walk the waterfront, grab a drink, or head toward the ferry terminal for island day trips.



9. Spark Arena

Perfect if guests are in town for a concert, event, or show. One of the most convenient big venues to access from Parnell/CBD.



10. Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki

New Zealand’s leading visual arts gallery, featuring local, Māori, Pacific, and international works. It’s open daily 10am–5pm (except Christmas Day) and is about a 15-minute walk from Waitematā/Britomart.



Getting Around:

The best way to get around from Waitoa Street is by combining walking, Uber, and Auckland Transport buses.

Many of Auckland’s best attractions are close enough to reach on foot, while buses and rideshares make it easy to explore further afield. For day trips, Britomart offers convenient access to trains and ferries across the city and beyond.



Other Things to Note:

Monthly Stays: We have a 20% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more.



Key Pick-Up: The keys are in a lockbox at the property. We will send you full check-in instruction on the morning of your arrival date.



Parking: There is a free secure carpark at this property. There is also plenty of street parking.



Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the apartment for a $85 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you.



Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability.



Housekeeping: We can arrange extra weekly housekeeping during your stay if requested for the same price as the cleaning fee listed per clean. Stays longer than 21 days will be required to have a mid-stay clean at your expense. Please just send us a message if you need extra cleaning as we will need to organise this with the cleaning company we use.



Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay 450ml shampoo and conditioner, 450ml bodywash, 6 x tea/coffee, 9 x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes) but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out. Please do not take the large refillable bottles provided as we’ll need to charge for replacement.



Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed and a face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.



Checkout Time: Checkout time is at 10am.



This is a professionally managed apartment by Zodiak Stays so you can expect the very best in service, but please note it is not a serviced apartment. As above, weekly housekeeping can still be arranged as an extra service.



Interaction with Guests:

Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm NZ time and we will try to respond to your messages/email as soon as possible. You will be provided with an emergency 24/7 maintenance number as well in case you need that outside of our regular office hours
