East Austintacious: walkable airy quirky 4 bedroom

East Autintacious can be your base to explore Austin's wonders. It is the perfect location for downtown for SXSW; Zilker Park for ACL & Barton Springs, COTA (F1); Moody Amphitheater and Center for concerts; East 6th, Rainey and Mueller for drinks, while being minutes walk from 20+ restaurants, bars, breweries, and coffee shops like Bird Bird Biscuit, Butterfly Bar, Este, and Haymaker.
The space
This spacious, modern house is filled with light, color, and fun, quirky art. It has multiple outdoor spaces for eating and hanging out. You can also survey the neighborhood from the third-floor deck, which has cool breezes, no mosquitoes, and on a good night you can hear the music from the Butterfly Bar.

Since this is our sometimes home, it has all of the amenities you need for short or long stays: a full kitchen with lots of cooking supplies, washer & dryer, games, easy-to-use high speed wifi, multiple work spaces. Even a printer.

Art-lovers may appreciate the Covid art wall -- a gallery of sanity-saving art projects done by non-artists during quarantine -- and an outdoor gallery of birdhouses painted in the style of the masters. Test your art history knowledge by guessing the inspiration.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire 3 floor, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom house. This also includes a front porch, a back yard patio with areas for sitting and dining, a fenced-in backyard with a grill, and a third-floor penthouse deck with a view of the neighborhood.

The private driveway provides room to park two medium-sized cars. There is also plenty of free street parking if you have extra cars.
Other things to note
Three of the four bedrooms have attached baths. The second-floor master bedroom has a king-sized bed and attached bathroom. The third-floor penthouse bedroom has a queen-sized bed, attached bathroom, and access to a private deck with views. The third bedroom (2nd floor) also has an attached bath. It has two plush chairs that convert to comfy, twin-sized beds. Mattress toppers are provided for additional comfort. The last bedroom/office has a daybed and a freewheeling trundle bed that can be placed anywhere within the room or rolled into the master bedroom, which can be great if you have a young child who wants to sleep in a room with their parents.

For anyone using the space for remote work, there are multiple options, include a large corner desk in the office, a desk on the penthouse level, a dining room table, and a small work table usable with the convertible chairs, making it possible for at least four individuals to have private work spaces with backgrounds that look professional on video calls.

East Austintacious is not recommended for highly sheltered children (there are a couple art pieces with mild nudity and profanity) or those who will have difficulty with stairs (since bedrooms are on the second and third floors).

For those with particularly sensitive allergies, cats are occasional guests in the house.
