This weekend was my bridal shower and bachelorette celebration, and we chose this home for its great amenities—we planned to spend most of our time there.Check-In: We received an automated message that check-in was at 4 PM. I tried to request early check-in but didn’t hear back. Due to my dress fitting, we didn’t arrive until 10 PM. Unfortunately, the keypad didn’t work, and we spent about 20 minutes trying to get in. The host eventually responded and directed us to a lockbox in the backyard, which we had to find in the dark.The Home: Once inside, the house was spacious and just as described. It was very warm when we arrived since the thermostat was off, and there was a light layer of dust on the floors, but nothing major. The keypad battery had died and there were no spares, though that was a minor inconvenience. The owner eventually sent someone to change the batteries. The pool and hot tub were the main reasons we booked, but unfortunately, they weren’t usable—the hot tub had some sand, and the pool had a few bugs. The host said a pool tech would come, but that didn’t happen.Overall: The home itself is lovely and has so much potential. I was hoping that, with a house manager nearby, some of these issues might have been addressed before our arrival, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Even so, the few minor hiccups didn’t stop us from having a wonderful weekend celebrating, relaxing, and making memories together. We’d stay again!
