Una vacanza a 5 stelle

Villa immersa in uno scenario magico, tra ulivi e mandorli secolari. I proprietari di casa, Teresa e suo marito sono persone estremamente disponibili, che accolgono gli ospiti con calore e cortesia: dalla visita al frantoio alla squisita torta di benvenuto! Casa dotata di ogni confort, pulizia eccellente. Consigliamo a tutti un soggiorno in questa splendida dimora situata in una posizione strategica per la visita di spiagge e principali città d’arte della zona (Noto, Siracusa). Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Un luogo incantevole dove vivere.

Siamo appena rientrati da questo splendido luogo, reso ancor più piacevole dalla presenza di Emanuele e Teresa, due persone speciali, estremamente carine, disponibili ed ospitali. Il Trappeto del Lago è un luogo incantevole dove soggiornare, in mezzo ad ulivi secolari e mandorli, in una quiete di altri tempi, luogo perfetto dove ricaricarsi di energia. La casa, o meglio la villa, è in una posizione perfetta, su una piccola collina ventilata, ma a due passi da tanti piacevoli luoghi da visitare e spiagge bellissime. E' dotata di tutti i comfort, arredata con gusto, molto bella. Spero davvero di avere la possibilità di tornare in questi luoghi, e di soggiornare al Trappeto nuovamente.

Au calme sur les hauteurs d'Avola

Belle maison bien restaurée avec des terrasses extérieures agréables. Situation idéale entre les plages, Noto et les monts Iblei. Pour être très critique, ne manquerait qu'une belle piscine pour que tout soit parfait. Les photos de l'annonce vous donnent l'impression d'une très grande piscine même si la piscine hors sol permet de se rafraichir. Tout le reste est parfait, n'hesitez pas !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour avec nos 4 enfants en bas âge. Maison bien décorée, fonctionnelle, dans un joli cadre, à 10 min en voiture de Avola et 15 min de Noto. Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires, qui se sont très bien adaptés à nos demandes ( erreur de ma part, j’avais noté 6 adultes et oublié de préciser qu’il me fallait un lit bébé, ils nous ont ramené tout ce qu’il nous fallait à 21h le soir dés nôtre arrivée) merci pour ce beau séjour

Perfekt!

Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus für eine große Familie! Wir waren mit unseren 4 Kindern dort und hatten eine tolle Woche. Das Haus ist in prima Zustand, groß und geräumig mit Platz für Alle, nur der Pool war ein bisschen klein... Sonst war alles perfekt: Vor allem die Eigentümer Theresa und Emilio sind so gastfreundlich und bemüht um das Wohlbefinden der Gäste, einfach toll! Das Haus bietet mehr als man für eine Ferienunterkunft erwartet.

Lovely property

Very pretty location, with beautiful views from the rooftop terrace of the sea and the surrounding hills. Great property with everything you need. Owner was so lovely and made us a cake for our arrival, plus beer and wine. Would definitely recommend.

A week in the sun

Firstly, a big thank you to Emanuele & Teresa for such a warm welcome! The house is amazing, very clean and comfortable. A car is required to take full advantage of the region and there are so many places to visit that our week seemed a little too short. Für uns das perfekte Ferienhaus

Grosszügiges und mit allem ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in bestem Zustand. Der Pool im regionaltypischen Garten ist für eine Abkühlung gut ausreichend. Die Vermieter sind sehr, sehr nett und reagieren bei Bedarf umgehend. Der nächste Supermarkt ist ca. 2 km entfernt und bis zum Strand sind es ca. 5 km. Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich. Wir (Eltern mit 11 und 13 Jahre alten Söhnen) würden wieder buchen.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr zu empfehlen, schön in einer Mandelplantage eingebettet und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Über kleinere Unzulänglichkeiten sieht man gerne hinweg. Zur Begrüßung eine Willkommenstorte und Nero dAvola, das war sehr nett. Zum Meer und zum Einkauf nach Avola ca. 4 Km, also Auto ist notwendig, nach Noto (wunderschöne BarocksStadt) nur 5 Km.

Perfektes Haus, perfekter Urlaub

Wir waren zu fünft für 10 Tage über Ostern im Haus von Emanuele, Teresa und ihrer Tochter. Das Haus hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Gastfreundschaft von Emanuele und Teresa und zur selben Zeit die Ruhe und Privatsphäre haben wir sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig und wunderschön gelegen, die Betten sind bequem und in der Küche hat es alles was man braucht. Zudem ist das Haus extrem schön eingerichtet und hat viele schöne alte Landwerkzeuge und Bilder an den Wänden. Der Pool, Grill, Ping Pong Tisch und die verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten draussen erfüllen alle Wünsche. Trotz der schönen Ruhe und dem vielen Platz ums Haus für uns allein, ist man mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten in Avola und in 10 Minuten in der wunderschönen Stadt Noto. Es gibts nichts auszusetzen und wir werden ganz bestimmt so bald als möglich Emanuele, Teresa und ihr schönes Haus wieder besuchen. Das Haus ist ein Traum und die Vermieter sind super nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Danke nochmals

Das Haus ist super und sehr gross. Alles sehr sauber. Die Wäsche wird regelmässig gewechselt und sogar der Kühlschrank war am ersten Abend schon gefüllt für uns. Das Haus steht auf einem Hügel inmitten Olivenbäumen und Zitronenplantagen. Wir hatten einfach extrem schlechtes Wetter in der zweiten Woche und sind früher abgereist, die Vermieter haben uns sogar Geld zurück gegeben. Viele Restaurants und auch die Bars am Strand hatten schon geschlossen Mitte Oktober. Das Haus können wir auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Lage des Hauses, Einrichtung, Garten sind perfekt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Sehr empfehlenswert

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Sehr freundliche Besitzer, die nebenan wohnen, jederzeit hilfsbereit und sonst sehr zurückhaltend sind. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Terrassen und der Garten bieten genug Platz.

Wunderschönes Haus mit toller Lage und Einrichtung

Wir haben den Urlaub in der Unterkunft sehr genossen. Sehr liebevoller Empfang, großes Haus mit neuer Einrichtung. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Für Kinder gibt es einen großen Garten zu entdecken, zusätzlich etwas Spielzeug und den sauberen Pool. Auch wenn die Vermieterin sich um alles kümmert hat man stets seine Privatsphäre und die Anlage für sich.

Lovely well equipped House

We stayed in the house as a family (6 people) for a week and had a lovely time. The house is spacious, clean and very well equipped. There are three bedrooms (one downstairs) and there might have been a futon for a fourth but we never found it and in the end didn't need it. The cake on arrival was absolutely delicious and the owners were so friendly and helpful (in a completely non-intrusive way). We even got a tour of their house to see the old olive press (the last few pictures in the slideshow of the property). You definitely need a car; Lidl is 10 minutes away, Avola 15 minutes, Noto 35 minutes, Syracuse 40 minutes. The pool is a big (4 or 5 metres long) stand-alone unit about 10 metres from the house. It is perfect for cooling off and we used it most days, but the picture on the website is taken from a low angle. A great base for exploring this part of Sicily, but also big enough to spend days relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet.

Amazing house, beautifully furnished with excellent hosts

We had an amazing 5 nights at Trapetto Del Lago, enjoying the rural tranquility and only a short drive to Avola, Nota, Modica and the beautiful Cava Grande gorge. The hostess Therese was so gracious and helpful (homemade cake on our arrival and a bottle of red wine). If you are in southern Sicily then I would highly recommend this as your base and then just day trips to the Baroque towns, countryside and beaches. We were thrilled that we had not chosen to stay at the beach, but still had a great view of the sea. Great for up to 1-3 couples and families. New Zealand

A lucky find .

We were delighted with the interior of house , & outside living space. Which enable us to have totally relaxing holiday.our host Emanuel & Teressa were enchanting couple & made sure our stay was perfect , nothing was too much trouble. The location of the property is quite remote & a certainly require a car . Small size is advisable as very narrow lanes .We didn’t use the pool as we felt it possibly wasn’t as hygienic as we had liked . The flys were always in abundance from the previous night to be scoped out . That I can say was it’s only down fall.

Emanuele and Teresa were the perfect hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome (even leaving a freshly made cake in the fridge for our arrival which was hugely appreciated!). The house was spotless and very spacious for us, a group of 6 adults. We have travelled a lot together and this was by far the best equipped place we've ever stayed in. There are beautiful views surrounding the house, and a small pool that we didn't use as the weather wasn't quite warm enough. Thank you again for a wonderful stay Emanuel and Teresa!

Why we LOVED this exquisite Sicilian House...and its owners

When we first pulled into the driveway of Teresa and Emanuele’s property, we immediately noticed the fanciful sandstone corbels beneath the windows — comical yet stylish carved heads, some grinning with mischief, some grimacing — but all having a satisfying combination of tradition with something new (hand-carved by our host, Emanuele, who is a splendid sculptor in addition to being a painter). This combination of old-meets- new sums up the irresistible appeal of this truly special house. The beautiful rooms, all masterfully finished in gleaming Venetian plaster and beautiful tile, are decorated with perfectly placed ancient farm tools. Throughout the home, one is treated to Emanuel’s beautiful paintings, which combine old-world religious subjects and early synthetic cubism. There is a large bedroom downstairs for anyone worried about stair climbing and two more bedrooms upstairs. There is plenty of room for hanging out and watching Italian television or reading in two large living rooms- one just past the front door, and a second that joins the kitchen. And for spectacular views of the local landscape, including nearby Avola and the Mediterranean, you can go onto the roof. The kitchen is perfectly laid-out, with modern appliances, a dishwasher, and every pot and pan you will need. Just outside the kitchen is a beautiful porch, with a robustly constructed high ceiling with exposed beams, and another large table. There you’ll also find a charcoal barbecue, where you can grill some sardines, drink some local wine, and take in the soothing views of the property, with its ancient olive, citrus and almond trees. After such a lunch, you will be tempted to take a siesta in one of the many hammocks or enjoy the sun in a reclining chair — which of course we did. While the house and its setting are reason enough to stay here, your hosts are the other reason. Emanuele and Teresa whose house is just next door, are warm, cheerful and truly welcoming. We were celebrating my mother-in-law’s 80th birthday, so imagine our astonishment when we opened the refrigerator and discovered an enormous birthday cake! While it may not be reasonable to expect a most delicious cake, be assured that you will be tended to with great hospitality. Emanuele and Teresa have made a jewel of a vacation home, and their welcoming spirit is its finest feature. We could not be happier with our stay, and with how welcome they made us feel. Don’t miss this delightful experience.

Wunderbar erholsamer Urlaub

Das Haus liegt in mitten von Oliven- und Mandelbäumen. Wunderschön und man fühlt sich gleich einwenig italenisch. Das Grundstück ist traumhaft schön mit kleinem Pool und schönen Ecken zum träumen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz und die offene Küche ist sehr schön. Im 1.OG befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer - von hier und der Dachterasse hat man den schönsten Blick. Es fehlt an nichts und es gibt genügend Handtücher, Küchenausstattung inkl. Grundnahrungsmittel, Federball etc. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan und sind außerordentlich freundlich & herzlich. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und betreut. Dennoch ist die eigene Privatsphäre vollkommen gewart. Die Vermieter sind mit Leidenschaft und Freude dabei. Unsere Kinder (4 & 6 Jahre) waren ebenfalls begeistert und haben den Garten erobert. Wir sind mit drei Generationen gereist und es hat sehr gut in dem Haus funktioniert. Es gibt genügend "Raum" für alle Gäste. Avola und Noto sind sehr gut zuerreichen und wir haben beide oft zum Abendessen besucht. Alle besuchten Restaurants waren durchweg sehr gut! Auch die Küste ist wunderschön und wir waren an diversen Stränden baden. Das Wetter war Ende Oktober hervorragend und wir hatten richtiges Sommerwetter. Restaurants und Strandbars hatten weitestgehend auf. Es war eine tolle Atmosphäre am Ende der Saison vor Ort zu sein. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Vielen Dank für alles!

Lovely oasis in a fantastic part of Sicily

We loved our stay at Teresa and Emanuele's beautiful; farmhouse. Our kids had a great time running around the olive groves and swimming in the pool. We took a lot of great excursions to Noto, Avola, Siracusa, Taormina... What a fascinating part of the world. The house was just as beautiful as it looks, and perfectly clean. Teresa and Emanuele were wonderful, helpful hosts.

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Wir waren in der ersten Oktoberwoche mit 3 Paaren in dem liebevoll eingerichteten und schön gelegenen Domizil. Obwohl wir in den beiden ersten Tagen kein Glück mit dem Wetter hatten, haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Sehr nette Vermieter, die im Nachbarhaus wohnen und sehr hilfsbereit sind. Es gibt zwei Terrassen im Erdgeschoss mit Blick auf die Olivenbäume und eine Dachterrasse mit Rundumblick. Auf den Terrassen im Erdgeschoss findet man auch Schatten. Auto ist erforderlich, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind aber mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar (Supermärkte auf der Landstr. in Richtung Noto und in Gegenrichtung zur Autobahn). Frischen Fisch gibt es jedenfalls vormittags an der Ecke Via Miramare/Via Elsa Morante (2 Läden); Wein gibt es direkt daneben in der Via Miramare. Syrakus, Noto sind sehr nah, Ragusa und Catania innerhalb einer Stunde erreichbar. Schöner Strand kurz hinter Noto in eine Naturschutzgebiet (Spiaggia di Calamosche). Im Oktober kann man noch schwimmen. Wir haben uns gut erholt.

We had the most wonderful week!

Wow! That's the most valid word we can think of to describe our time. The house was amazing! So spacious, so clean, well equipped, with a wonderful garden, that had all kinds of chairs, sun loungers and a lounge area. The pool was great for the kids, and as an adult it's a nice way to cool off on a hot afternoon. The fridge was stacked with goodies, there's an overload of toiletries in the bathrooms and the kitchen is very well equipped and has every appliance you can think of. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable and everything is being kept like it's brand new. But most of all, we would like to say a warm 'thank you' to the owners. They were just wonderful! Absolutely everything was taken care of and they were so kind and humble. We enjoyed our time at Trappeto del Lago very, very much and would recommend it to anyone!
