The property is in need of some updating and, overall, we found it looked tired, outdated and rather scruffy. “What a friendly bunch they are at The Old Bell. Clear the new owners and motivated to make this a great spot for all. A truly warm welcome and great chat with the staff; all keen to learn and do things the right way. They really are a credit to the management. Rooms still need a little work, mattress on the bed was not great at all, but everywhere clean and tidy. Would happily stay again when in the area for work.”

The customer service from Catherine was over and above, she is a reason I would want to stay at the Bell. It's rare to receive support, understanding and recognition that customer service is the backbone of a business and I can't praise her enough. I”
