“The rooms were small but perfectly adequate. The rooms were not air conditioned and as we were there on one of the hottest weekends of the year the room was very hot overnight. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.”

“Not far from the railway station (a nice 15 minute walk), and the pedestrian area ( 5 minutes) very kind and always available staff. They assigned me a doble room even though i was alone. Right below the hotel there is the stop for the 700 bus with wich i went to Brighton. I would happily return to this hotel.”

“Kelly the assistant manager was excellent. The quality of the cooked breakfast was poor. The site setting is lovely however the property does require some upgrading and perhaps a deep clean would be desirable.”

“Extremely friendly and courteous staff, in particular the lady who checked us in and the breakfast team. The hotel is being systematically renovated and the public areas are of a high standard. Our room was clean and well maintained and whilst the bathroom was clean and functional it would have benefited from being renovated. That said, there was nothing seriously wrong with it. “Rude receptionist who barely acknowledged us on arrival, completely disinterested. The room was basic but clean and fine for our short stay of 1 night. The general noise levels are awful, no soundproofing in the walls and constant banging from an internal door along the corridor. There is no temperature control in the room and it was particularly hot weather which made our stay very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. Would not recommend to anyone and we are very easy going people”
