“I enjoyed my stay at The Greenland's Inn, the room was very clean and the staff were so lovely. I didn't eat or drink at the bar because of how late I was working so I cannot comment on that. However there is a local area for shopping with places like Sainsburys and M&S, as well as local food spots too (which are really affordable). “Absolutely great stay… called after booking to ask about check in as we were at an event in town and would be there before check in and maybe late back… could not fault the response from Brian and his team… absolutely superb service. “Really lovely staff and the check in experience was very pleasant. The room was just about acceptable in terms of cleanliness but the toilet was not clean and still had used paper in it. The room and the surroundings were very tired and beyond worn in some places, especially the carpet on the stairs which was very dirty. As there was no breakfast, we could not comment on it. It’s such a shame because the setting is quite pleasant and it could be a lovely place to visit. ”
