Hotel vicino a Babbacombe Beach - Torquay

“Definire questo affittacamere un' hotel è piu' che un' azzardo. Camera piccolissima e bagno ancor più piccolo tanto che... Il lavabo era in camera. Per aprire l valige (trolley!) dovevamo fare i turni ed organizzarci negli spostamenti in camera. Zero ascensore, zero aria condizionata, zero frigo... solo due scalcagnati letti. Colazione meno che francescana. Zero parcheggio. Prezzo da Grand' hotel- E' stata una solenne fregatura.”

The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. “This amazing hotel well surpassed our expectations. Beautifully modernised and equipped with quality fittings everywhere. Our stay coincided with some sunny hot weather so the outdoor pool, jacuzzi and bar facilities were in full use but still plenty of sun loungers and great service. “When we arrived, it was getting cold. The room was present but cold. There was no attempt to put the heating on untill a complaint was made. And there was no heat in the bathroom the next morning. I was charged an extra £20 for the room. Breakfast was average of poor quality.”

The bed was shocking , The outdoor pool was closed and overgrown and mouldy . My wife has poor knees and could not have used the shower over bath. This hotel is a 2-3 star . We had staff revving motorcycles under our window and talked loudly.”
