Door County-Cozy Cabin nestled in The Woods, and Close to all DC has to offer!

Welcome to Porcupine Cabin! This clean and cozy log cabin is nestled among mature hardwoods and evergreens on 1.5 acres in Baileys Harbor, a short distance into downtown. The first floor has an open concept living room with a gas fireplace, kitchen, dining room, and full bath. Upstairs are 2 large bedrooms and a full bath. Sit and relax on the large screened-in porch, covered front porch, or by the outdoor fire pit and enjoy privacy and nature all around you. Located within minutes of Sister Bay, Fish Creek, Ephraim, and Egg Harbor, this is your ideal vacation home to explore all that Door County has to offer!
** Porcupine Cabin is professionally cleaned and provides commercially laundered linens.

The hosts have thought of absolutely everything you’d ever need for your stay! Cute, cozy, entertaining, relaxing, whatever your vibe you’ll find it here! Cabin was so very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable! We even had a great bonfire and enjoyed the 3 season porch for late night chats and early morning coffee. Most definitely recommend a stay here I know we will be back for our annual girls weekend!

Overall, a wonderful stay. We would certainly consider staying here in the future and would wholeheartedly recommend this property to any one who is interested in staying here. The owner was readily available and quickly remedied an issue with the air conditioning. The property is exactly as described and the kitchen and bathrooms are very well appointed.

We keep coming back because it’s the most relaxing setting! From the cozy fireplace in the living room to the well appointed kitchen, screwed in porch and outdoor fire pit. We couldn’t ask for more! Will definitely be coming back!

Couples Getaway

We traveled with another couple to spend a long weekend in Door County to reconnect and have fun. This was the PERFECT location and we loved everything about the cabin. This will always be a special memory - my fiancé and I got engaged during our stay at the Porcupine Cabin.

Wonderful Wooded Retreat

Very happy with our stay at this clean, cozy house. We especially loved the big screened porch at the back of the house. Fantastic communication with the owner. We look forward to coming back soon. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Getaway

My sisters and I had our first-ever “girls’ trip”, and this cabin was the absolute perfect place for it! We all just needed some peace and quiet, and this cabin delivered. I think our favorite spot in the whole property was the screened-in porch out back, drinking tea, listening to birds, reading books. Magical. At one point some deer walked by. This is a minor detail, but we also really appreciated that the cabin came ready for coziness with three throw blankets. It just felt like a detail that we would not have thought to bring, but it really elevated the cozy factor for those back porch evenings. We enjoyed how easy it was to get to coffee shops and shopping, while feeling perfectly remote at the same time. I can’t imagine a better situation. Thank you for a lovely, restful weekend!

Exceeds Expectations

We spent our Thanksgiving weekend at Porcupine cabin. It was wonderful. The cabin was cozy, had a great fireplace and the cabin is in a wooded area yet close to everything. The cabin had everything you needed from cooking utensils to books and games, extra blankets, etc. Definitely 5 Stars.

House was even prettier than the pictures. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Screened in porch was ideal for relaxing and reading. Loved the peace and quiet of the location. Will be coming back!!!

Great Place to Stay and Enjoy Door County

We stayed at Porcupine Cabin for 4 nights and enjoyed everything about this cabin in the woods. This was our first time using Vrbo and didn’t know what to expect. We over packed because this place had everything like a regular home would and we didn’t need everything we brought with. I struggle with finding the code to open the door in the different emails that were sent through Vrbo but once that was resolved all was good. The weather was excellent and the evening we spent around the fire. We would stay here again, but we’re the type that likes to stay at different places when we visit Door County. Last year was Sturgeon Bay and this was Baileys Harbor at the Porcupine Cabin.

Porcupine Cabin Rocks!

This is an absolutely lovely home in a great location. The interior is masterfully appointed, and it has a wonderful screened in porch for lounging bug free. I will stay here again on the next trip to Door County for sure!
