Door County Dreaming Cabin, Pet Friendly

Tastefully updated, pet friendly cottage with in walking distance to downtown Bailey's Harbor. Explore beaches, state parks, snowmobile trail, Ridge's Sanctuary, restaurants, bars, and local brewery! Our Door County Cottage is perfect for your next getaway and Its so cute and cozy! Great back yard to gill out, have a fire in the fire pit and relax with your furry friend!  We want to be your guide while you enjoy our amazing town and cozy cottage! Sleeps up to 6, and 1 pet with a paid $99 pet cleaning fee.



This lovely house is 3 bedrooms with 1 king room, 1 queen room and a room with 2 single beds, 1 bath, washer/ dryer combo and a full kitchen. The back yard is private and adjoins to Door County Land trust land, perfect for relaxing outside, enjoying nature and stars in the night sky night. We are located about 1/2 a mile from down town. You can walk to all our fun local events, live music, farmers market and much more.

Charming Cozy Abode

We.came for the weekend to relax and thats exacrly what we did. The house was.perfectly set up for us and our pooch! We had fabulous communication with Kate.and couldn't have asked for anything more!

New Year Getaway

My family enjoyed our stay!! Very clean, easy check in /check out. The house all the things we needed to make our stay complete. The house is perfectly located to all the things we love to do in Door County. Coffee shop close for morning walks/coffee run. Warm cozy and a perfect way to ring in the New Year.

Thanksgiving/Hunting Trip

Older home remodeled/updated with Elec base board heat or propane heater in living room. Propane heater in main area/living room did not work and base board heaters were 2' long in each room with a wall/ceiling unit for heat/cooling in main living area. All units turned to 80 degrees managed to keep home at a very chilly 64 (with temps outside in 20' to teens all weekend). Contacted property manager upon our arrival (Thanksgiving day) who stated handyman would come out on Friday for propane heater check/restart. Service man showed up at 9:40 pm (Friday) after we had gone to sleep) and told us nothing he could do and found out he was not intended to visit our unit but another home that had heat out for this property manager. Not our best visit in winter time frame for VRBO rental in Door County. Not sure we will be back for this rental again. This property might be good for summer months but not for winter months. :( Property manager promised a one night refund for our mishaps/issues.

Exceeded Our Expectations!

Door County has an old world type of charm to it and most of the houses have the same "old" charm. You can definitely tell this one has been updated and that the owners have put in work to keep it fresh and modern. Everything was wonderfully clean, like far beyond what we are used to. The glasses. disbes, silverware, pots, pans, and everything else in the kitchen was absolutely spotless and you can tell that the pot and pan set are brand new. The beds were comfortable and there are plenty of spare blankets and pillows. They have a bigh-tech new washer/dryer combo that was really nice and they supplied trash bags. Everything was just wonderful. We would stay again.

Great spot for exploring Door County

My wife and three young children all enjoyed our time in Bailey's Harbor. It was nice to be able to walk the dog down to the pier each and every morning. The location is fantastic for exploring all around Door County. The house was clean and spacious enough for all of us. Thanks so much!

Wonderful experience

We had a wonderful experience at this great home in Bailey’s Harbor. The house was clean and felt so homey. It was a short walk to town but when we were at the house it was very quiet and relaxing. Can’t wait to stay here again on our next trip to Door County!

The peaceful side of Door County

Perfectly located in Baileys Harbor just a short walk or bike ride around the bend to the cute and active town center. Short walk to easily pack a lunch or pick up something from town to enjoy at the picnic tables overlooking the harbor. Close to Cana Island lighthouse and the Baileys Harbor range lights. We enjoyed the peaceful evenings spent at this beautiful home after the busyness of visiting the “Bay” side of Door County just a short distance away. Kate’s place is set abutting quiet woods and whether it be her trees or her well established flowers- something is blooming adding to the beauty of this cozy locale. Everything was clean and well maintained. We look forward to booking a return trip.

Comfortable and cozy

The dogs (and people) enjoyed looking out the patio windows into the woods. The furniture was very comfortable. We were a nit disappointed that there was no regular tv. With it raining everyday, we missed watching lical weather forecasts so we could plan our days better. Otherwise, this was a great place to stay.

Baileys Harbor Family Fun

We had a family get-together with sons and our teen grandson for 4 days at this cottage and it was a perfect place to relax, play and have fun! The natural woodsy setting and bonfire space was peaceful and Baileys Harbor was a nice "quieter" side of the peninsula to chill out. Enjoyed the beach on Ridges road and the hiking trails at Whitefish Dunes State park. The host was very responsive to our questions and requests. Would highly recommend a visit! Cozy and Clean😁

Great place and perfectly located. It was a much needed family getaway, cozy yet plenty of room for 5 adults and the family dog! And because we had cool and rainy weather, this home away from home was exactly what we needed. Cocoa, games, cooking, movies and lots of laughter! Thanks for a great stay.
