Hotel a Baileyton

“Awesome historical inn. The rooms were filled with antiques and the history was wonderful. We were on the 3rd floor, next to the main street, which was pretty loud in our room, though we were so tired each evening, it didn't affect our sleeping. There is only a elevator to the 2nd floor, so you have to carry your luggage to the 3rd floor. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious. We ate at the restaurant both nights, outdoor seating was great, and so was the food! Highly recommend this lovely...

“The property was welcoming to pets. We stayed in a first floor room which helped alot. The property abd rooms are very run down. Everything needs to be replaced from carpeting to fridges. The room was stained the moldings pulling away from the walll, the lock was broken in two....on top of that the layout is really cramped The vanity is separated from the toilet , and blocks the entry path and tbere is not enough room for two adults. “They offer you candy when checking in. I must have looked at a different place to stay and accepted this one by mistake. Expedia had us wanting a smoking room? The room was clean but had a strange smell. It has only a space heater for heat. It is supposed to drop in the teens tonight. There is a unit in it that is supposed to be a heat/air conditioner that does not heat. Was charged $150.00 deposit incase we smoked in the room or for incidentals. Which we had no idea about! “The room was great, the hotel was clean. The only issue take your own towels and quilts! We only had 2 towels and 2 wash cloths. We all took a shower upon arriving, we went out when we came back we asked for a couple more towels and all they had were two wash cloths they had nothing else. Asked again in the morning when we got up to take showers-still nothing. Also asked for another quilt we were cold and were told they had none. They really need to invest in more towels, bed quilts and wash...

“I dont like leaving negative reviews but we booked this for an unexpected trip to Greenville when other hotels were booked. Lobby stays locked, you have to call someone from outside to open it. Walked in the room, took one look amd smell and walked bacl out. There was almond on the floor right as we walked on... bathtub had shaving cream on it.. bathing towels were basicslly hand towels. Room smelled of must and old cigarette smoke.. Its a great location.. but that os the only good thing. ...

“Following Issues: Ripped Bedding, Musty Air Conditioner, Coffee Maker Broken, Soap Scum in Shower, Empty Tissues, only 1 roll of toilet paper. Poorly Maintained Room (loose floorboards around AC unit), Bathroom door will not close. No fruits or pastries in the Continental Breakfast... Overall condition is poor. ”
