“Definitely the best villa in La Paloma. Ocean view was amazing from almost any room in the entire place. The kitchen was well stocked so that made cooking super easy. Wifi and tvs in the rooms with netflix helped with keeping or little ones entertained. Jacuzzi and pool was enjoyed by my mother in law, the kids had fun walking the grounds playing in the playground. The small bbq did the job for both nights of grilling. “We went down to Joe place as part of a company retreat. The place was perfect for us. The layout was great and the beach was pristine. The pool was great, and the communal spaces (like the Palapa area) really enhanced our experience. It also felt very safe with the patrol coming frequently. I (and everyone who came along) is looking forward to coming back as soon as possible.”

“We spent 6 weeks here from mid 2024-01 to end 2024-02. Pros: Many (a) Beautiful, quiet location (other than surf, wind and the occasional dune buggy) (b) House nice and comfortable, including beds. (c) Was concerned about off-grid electricity, but had no problem. Solar panels and batteries powered a small fridge, all lights, internet and my computer with no issues. There is a back-up propane electrical generator but we did not use. (d) Service attendant Alfredo was attentive re filling water...

“Neighborhood like safe setting. Good for a family. Large- lots of space. Unexpected rooftop bar/patio area with a view was a plus. Unfortunately couldn’t stay for the whole week; got called back to the US for work. But my partner enjoyed the rest of his stay haha”

“We rented from thursdsy to sunday, anoither group was already in the house thru thursdsy, tjey double booked it. I had to go spend $600.00 in hotel rooms Thursday night. The amount of bedrooms was a lie. Lickily i had 2 people not show up, with tgat, we already had people sleeping in the couch. There are only 4 bedrooms, not 6. What a joke, never do vrbo again and definatly not recommend either places. One positive note, the cleaning lady was very nice.”

“The beach house was amazing. It was a bit remote to get to but the owners were in constant communication with us and were willing to meet us and drive us in. We chose to follow the directions provided and looked at it as a bit of a treasure hunt! The prize was amazing! The beach was wonderful. Make sure to walk down the beach to the left, at low tide, you will discover the hot springs right there in the sand. Look for the steam!!! We soaked in our own little hot pool we dug. And sunset...
